"Angi advertises that you’ll get an upfront, transparent price before you ever schedule with a pro. That was not my experience here. This company refused to provide even a ballpark estimate for a standard job — a 50-amp generator plug with an interlock — and instead wanted to charge a $69 “dispatch/diagnostic” fee just to show up. That’s not an upfront price, that’s a sales appointment. Very misleading, and not what Angi promises. I will be taking my business elsewhere."

FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. "While they did fine with getting a technician out to diagnose the reason my AC was not working, they grossly overcharged for an extremely inexpensive part. The technician called me to report his findings after checking out my HVAC system in my house in Gretna. He told me the blower capacitor was defective and that it was a common problem and easily fixed. He told me the capacitor would cost $189. I asked why so expensive for what I knew was normally a cheap part. He said "we charge much less than the other companies". The total charge for the repair was $318 ($129 service charge + $189 capacitor). I was able to get the part number of the capacitor because the the tech guy left the empty box in my garbage can. After a quick search online I found that the most expensive price I could find for that capacitor was $17. They charged me more than 10 times the cost of that part!"
