I had specifically instructed that the rebar be mounted on concrete chairs because I expected a professional job. Instead, the company owner ordered the concrete before the prep work was finished, then showed up more than 30?60 minutes after the concrete truck had already arrived. That delay forced the crew to rush the placement of the rebar and wire, causing the rebar to slide around during the pour ? far from optimal. He didn?t have all the necessary supplies on hand, nor did he complete the proper preparation. I told him not to remove the forms that day; best practice is to leave them in place for 24 hours, with 12 hours being the minimum. He ignored my concerns and removed them anyway, insisting he knew better than ?online information.? An easy way to cut concrete pavers without a saw is to use a hammer and chisel. You can make a few passes over your paver with a hammer and chisel to make a fissure where you want the paver to break. Once the divot is about 1/8 inch thick, drive the chisel hard into the center of the line to complete the cut without using a saw.

While it’s possible to remove a fence post with a truck and requires little physical effort, we don’t recommend this method. You can potentially hurt others or yourself or damage your property or vehicle attempting to take a fence post out with a truck. Instead, use a farm jack or a pole puller to remove the post.

It’s far more labor-intensive and expensive to demolish a concrete slab before laying down pavers. You’ll need a professional to break up and haul away the concrete, excavate underneath, bring in paver base or crushed gravel, and then level the area with leveling sand before laying the pavers. A new paver patio will cost around $1,000 to $2,000, which is more than laying pavers over a concrete patio, and takes longer to complete.
