"I was on the market for a security system and this one seemed easy enough to install.......went through the process and some of the window sensors were not working. I called Customer Support who was very friendly and we went through the entire process again...this time other window sensors did not work. This went on for a week or so...then the door senors stopped working....than the motion sensor stopped working...at no time in over a month did I have a fully operational security system. As I was about to return the system I was told they have "new" sensors and they just realized they received a bad batch and are working with another company.....Gave it a try....and same issue returned....some sensors worked....some didn't. I finally returned the system and stopped getting emails.....only to find that they were still billing my credit card even after I returned the equipment. Very nice people and very understanding.....unfortunately their product is not up to par. While we do have a large home, it's an open concept and the sensors that weren't working were no more than 15ft away from the base. The previous owners of my house had a wireless system with no issues at all.....I'm going to be using that company going forward."

"The windows are a great product. They look nice, easy to open and close, easy to clean from the inside. They are a very good sound barrier -- my house is much quieter now. I am looking forward to a break on my energy bill, too. The installation was superbly done -- within 3 hours. They send enough people to knock a whole house out in a short amount of time. After ordering the windows, they did take 10 weeks to come in. But the company did let me know to expect this. My one issue with them was that after the installation every pane of every window had noticeable splotches on it. I cleaned one window and the sliding door myself but the spotches were hard to get off and so it took forever. I called the company and they sent out a technician. The splotches turned out to be the glue that is used to seat the panes in the window frames, and they are not sure how it got on the windows. The first technician had to leave after cleaning 6 windows, and the company sent another technician out to finish cleaning the other 9. So the company was responsive and addressed the issue, with friendly and well-organized customer service; it's just someone needs to figure out how the manufacturing process allows the glue to get onto the windows."
