That delay forced the crew to rush the placement of the rebar and wire, causing the rebar to slide around during the pour ? far from optimal. He didn?t have all the necessary supplies on hand, nor did he complete the proper preparation. I told him not to remove the forms that day; best practice is to leave them in place for 24 hours, with 12 hours being the minimum. He ignored my concerns and removed them anyway, insisting he knew better than ?online information.? Finally, when I asked him to remove the small vertical pieces of wood before leaving, he waited until I stepped inside the house and then left in a hurry."
