This experience with RH & MS was an extremely positive experience. I hired them to renovate my home after Barry flooded the total ground floor of my 1200 sq. foot home. Several HomeAdvisor contractors gave me quotes on the job. RH & MS was not the lowest, but, the attention to detail in the initial walk thru separated them from the other contractors. They quickly worked to totally gut the house and re-mediate the floors, wall and insulation to prevent the growth of mold. They did an excellent job of replacing sheet rock, insulation, and painting. I was impressed by how the punctual and friendly crew cleaned up after every work day. Mike said it would take about three months and they finished one week shy of three months. "I've been looking forward to writing this review since I got the bid back from Zeringue's this past summer. First of all, Z's wasn't the first contractor I contacted. The other six or so either never showed up, declined the work, bid way too high, or just never sent me an estimate of what I wanted done and what needed to be done. Malcolm Zeringue showed up and e-mailed me a detailed PDF and list of questions early the following day. The estimate was clear and surprisingly fair. I met him soon after with a team of subs-contractors, and they began work. What I loved was Z's conscientiousness. Malcolm and his team do not cut corners. They spend the time to get things done right so I won't have problems down the road. They communicate well and often. Throughout, I received photos of finished projects and photos of potential problems. Malcolm new I was on a budget and worked with me on everything. If they ran into uglieness (rotten wood, termite damage, leaks), and one aspect of the job was going to cost more than expected, he tried to balance that out with parts of the overall job that could be less expensive than originally expected. My once dumpy property is now spectacular. Working with Zeringue's was memorable, delightful, exciting, and I'm looking forward to doing more improvements to the property with them.
