"Have had Tri-State do several projects. All have been done quickly and well. Latest was cutting an egress window into a concrete foundation for a lower level walkout. Tri-state had to coordinate several employees to do the job and it turned out great! Along the way they picked up a few smaller jobs and handled equally well. They make sure to do things the right way as well, which I appreciate."

Mortar and thinset both serve the same purpose—tile adhesion—but have different compositions and use-cases. Thinset is heatproof and presents a wide range of possibilities due to the added polymers. If your old bricks are in decent condition and you have the space to store them where they’ll be protected from the elements, keeping old bricks is often worthwhile.
