Several years ago, Newman Electric did a small job for us in a rental property so we could bring it up to code. The job was done in a very timely manner and everything was thoroughly explained. In the summer of 2019, we hired Newman to do all the electrical work in our kitchen remodel. Again, the service was outstanding and the cost was very reasonable. This summer (2020), we hired Newman Electric, LLC to run electricity to our backyard so we could power our pool pump without having cords all over the yard. "I estimate I have just under $100k in electronics and appliances in my house. We have significant lightning storms in my location. To NOT have lightning suppression installed is significant risk in my mind based on my location in New Jersey. RS LIGHTNING PROTECTION was responsive with a quick cost estimate and a reasonable price based on my research for installation. By the way...installation is part art, such as bends in cable are not more than 90 degrees. It's not just about running grounded cables. This installation in conjunction with surge protection on my electrical panel performed by my electrician and cable protection gives me significant piece of mind that all my appliances and electronics are protected from lightning and any potential surge generated by a near strike. "The equipment was delivered promptly, and the installers arrived shortly after. Chris Hardin and Anthony were the installers. They were very experienced, well trained, knowledgeable, and did top quality work. Both were polite, personable, and treated me with respect. I tend to be a perfectionist and must say if I would have had the skills to do this job myself, I could not have done any better. I have never seen such good quality for any heating and air conditioner replacement in other homes I have owned. In addition to replacing the furnace and air conditioner units, some other items that were replaced were: suction and liquid lines, the exterior breaker box, condenser pad, furnace vent, insert in the vent going up the chimney, and the condensation pump and hose. The old furnace was situated such that there was not much room to change the air filter and perform maintenance. The new furnace was repositioned to eliminate that problem. This involved rerouting the electrical cable to the furnace switch and partially extending the gas line. My previous coil was never a tight fit over the furnace and therefore, cool and warm air escaped. Special care was taken to tightly mount the new coil and thoroughly seal it with silicone. Some insulation was even used around ducts nearby. All the old equipment, including the condenser pad, was hauled away. The work area was cleaned up well after completion."
