This could easily have been an "A" experience, except for one curious thing I'll get to in a moment... First, though, the positive: Corrigan was generally very prompt, courteous, and efficient, and the technician did good work in resolving my issue, at a price I thought was fair. Where I did have concern, however, was that this work was done during the Covid pandemic, and the technician - who was otherwise very courteous and professional - arrived and performed the work without wearing a mask. This was odd to me; whether or not you believe that masks are actually helpful, and regardless of how you feel about the severity of the pandemic, I think wearing one is a simple way of reassuring customers that you're concerned about their well-being during these uncertain times. (And for what it's worth, I've had six different people come to my home to do work or give a quote in the past couple of weeks, and this was the first time someone didn't wear a mask.) Still, though, Corrigan seems to know what they're doing work-wise, and I would recommend them to others (and hire them again).

Someone from Corrigan Electric contacted me the next day and we scheduled the repair. The electrician showed up within the time span given to me and the repair was completed within 90 minutes. I mis-understood the hourly rate(s) given to me over the phone when I scheduled the repair, so the price was a bit more than I expected, but I was satisfied with the repair and experience with Corrigan Electric and would recommend them.

Corrigan was excellent every step of the way — even the receptionist seemed like she was an electrician! Corrigan came out the same day (which was incredibly important since we have two young kids and need power to the appliances that didn’t work). They also were exceptionally friendly, professional, and made quick, quality work of the job. And, the best part, it came in WAY under what I was expecting. We’ll be repeat customers.

Couldn’t easily fix circuit without breaking up a sidewalk so just removed one yard light from circuit to avoid problem. Will consider adding plug for outdoor lights in future

Patrick and Dan were very courteous and fast It was a Saturday morning and cold and wet. I’m sure they could have found a way to be upset about working under these conditions, however they were very friendly and professional. I called Corrigan at 7:30 left a message And they called me back within minutes. Their guys were here 45 minutes later. 2hours later. They were calling LG&E to turn the power back on. Would definitely recommend them to everyone .

They did outstanding work. They came in at the estimate, which I really appreciate a ton. They spread out the dirt well. They took care of all the permits and scheduling of the inspection. We are very pleased. Also, they were much cheaper than the next closest estimate.

The two Corrigan techs, one each day, were friendly and professional. It was a challenging task but they worked diligently to locate the issue. The first visit ended with apparent success but that lasted only an hour and the fuse went out again. The second visit a couple days later appears to have solved the issue. Fingers crossed. I would recommend Corrigan. They are expensive but the quality is good.

Our 90 year old house needed lighting added to the detached garage, additional backyard security lighting and wiring for post lights and outlets to a deck we were having built. The team at Corrigan Electric worked closely with us and our deck contractors (St Matthews Fence and Deck - also excellent) to coordinate the installation. The job required trenching in the backyard, extensive work in the garage, basement and a crawlspace (yikes). All team members were professional, exceptionally efficient and open to questions or suggestions. I could always reach a knowledgeable and helpful staff member by phone whenever I had a question. The work was completed, as promised and on schedule with no disruption, confusion or problems whatsoever. My husband and I are thrilled with the end result. I highly recommend Corrigan Electric and will call them for any future electrical projects.

Our geothermal air conditioning unit went out and I got on Angie's list and hired a technician to come out and look at it. The technician from the heating and air company had traced the problem to a faulty breaker in the main electrical panel box, but said "he could not replace it because he had never seen that type of breaker before". So, me being me, I drove to the nearest electrical supply store and bought the breaker that needed to be replaced, and I installed it myself. However I still couldn't get the unit to turn back on. So I resorted back to Angie's list and found Corrigan electric company and talked to Sean, and explained my situation to him (at this time it was already "after hours" and an emergency) Sean explained to me that "emergency after hours calls were going to be $232 minimum, up to an hour, and if it took longer, the price could go up from there". Sean was very empathetic and professional, and said "sir, I don't like to charge people like this". I explained to him that I understand and we were both in agreement that "it's business"...He called one of his electricians and called me within minutes of us talking prior; and said his guy was on the way, providing me with the location of where he was at that time, and went on to tell me to make sure that I utilize the coupon that Corrigan Electric has here on Angie's List. Within 15-20 minutes the electrician( I wish I could remember his name) arrived and was very professional. After thoroughly going over the contract, we went over the issue at hand. He checked my work where I replaced the breaker in the main electrical panel, and verified, visually and with his tester, that things were properly done. He then went inside to where my unit was and tested the electrical there. He flipped the breaker at the unit, off and back on, and the ac unit come on. I wanted to bury my head in the sand like an ostrich, LOL. Being the courteous professional he was; he explained to me that it happens more than one would think, and that such breakers are tricky, and physically showed me how to properly reset that type breaker. I forgot to show him the coupon before he performed the work (which clearly states to show coupon prior to work being done). I paid in full and Sean calls back today (following day of work performed) to see how things were going and if my expectations were met and achieved. He went on to tell me that he is going to honor the coupon, and to be expecting a refund in the mail. These guys are Johnny on the spot, Very efficient and truly professional. I have the utmost respect for Corrigan Electric and they have me for a customer for life!!! I can't thank them enough

Dealt with three different crews. First crew was fine. Second three man crew screwed up wall oven installation, and range hood install. Left my home in a mess. Trashed my guest bathroom. Third crew spent most of the day straightening out what the second crew screwed up. Additionally the three man crew put a gouge in my brand new hardwood floor. was offered a 10% discount for my troubles.
