"Everything as planned. Technician showed up on time and was very nice and knowledgeable. Told me furnace was in excellent condition. Fair price for good service. I gave this company a poor review previously due to a missed appointment and a bit of runaround, so it's only fair I give them a good review this time as everything went perfect. Will hire again."

"Well we were going to do a ground mount using re-purposed
metal, but there was not enough of it. So Renewable Engineered Systems designed
a system for the roof of the house. We Worked with Brian Brown who helped us
decide what to use.   The solar panel
system is very neat. Get to watch my power everyday.

"Long story short.....I called Maeser when I had furance issues based on the fantastic reviews they consistently received online.  They recommended replacing the old furnace.  I agreed.  They quoted and installed a new furnace....took several trips to get it working properly....The first day that they installed the furnace, they wired it incorrectly and had my outside A/C unit running continuously in the middle of January.  After many calls they got it working.  THEN, I noticed a constant stream of water running down the outside panel of the furnace.  This increased in volume until I had a stream running across the basement floor.  I had to use my steam cleaner to constantly keep water sucked up so I did not ruin carpet.  Several weeks, calls and several trips by different technicians later they tore my unit completely apart and figured out what the problem was. There were issues with the drain pan and drain lines that had not been properly addressed when the furnace was installed. They fixed it and I have not had any trouble since.  I wish I new the technician's name that finally diagnosed and fixed the problem.  I would hug him.  The reason I gave them such high reviews was because Maeser did not charge me for a few additional tweaks to the furnace to help compensate for my time and trouble trying to get things fixed.  Seemed fair.
I was so optimistic after the furnace repair that I called Maeser back to fix an issue with our water heater.  The water heater pilot light would go out frequently.  The water heater was two years old and had done this from the date of install. Maeser did not install the water heater.  Another plumber had installed the heater and ductwork to it.  I had had three different plumbers look at/work on the unit including the original installer doing warranty work trying to diagnose the problem.  Maeser's technician correctly diagnosed the very subtle cause of our trouble.  The ductwork was installed at an improper angle causing the heater to choke itself and go out.  He fixed the problem and again charged me nothing based on all of the trouble I had with the furnace....the furnace and water heater repairs took place just a few days apart.
I will continue to use Maeser.  Yes.  They had some trouble at our house.  They were always professional.  They continued to work until the solved the problem.  They did not charge me unfairly.  They also gave me a break on other work when they did not have to.
Thanks, Maeser!!

"The people they sent out came out, they came out , I think about 4 or 5 different times. I talked with the technicians and said, "this is ridiculous, the furnace is old" and he said, "we agree, but they only want to do the patching". They would patch it and it would break, they would patch it, and it would break. Finally, I said, "I want a new furnace. What do we have to do to do a new furnace. You've been out here, this is like the 6th time," and he said, "I'll have my manager write something up", and so they did and they replaced the furnace. They tried. They were more interested in patching things than replacing things. They were willing to send out 4 or 5 different parts. The things that I see that would help the most is if it were easier to get a hold of them on the phone or if their website worked. Just being able to contact someone in person. Sometimes, you can't explain everything online. We were able to get a hold of them, we were able to talk to them. It just takes some time, they had to jump through the hoops with their company, we understood that, but they came through and got us a new furnace. A nice new furnace too."

Solar Panels questions, answered by experts

The average homeowner needs around 22 solar panels, but the exact number depends on your monthly energy consumption. Your solar professional should size your array to offset your consumption, meaning you’ll need fewer panels if you use below-average amounts of electricity, or more than 22 if you use above-average amounts of electricity. The number of panels also depends on the output of each panel. The average is around 400 watts, but you might need more panels if you install less capable equipment. Since there are so many variables, you should have a professional size your system.

While you can install solar panels by yourself, it can be a complicated process full of lots of manual labor, risky roof work, and knowledge of electrical wiring. Most solar panel installation projects should be reserved for a trained professional—especially if you plan on connecting your panels to the electrical grid rather than for off-grid use, which doesn’t require utility services.

Solar panels should get at least four to six hours of direct sunlight daily. It’s even better if sunlight reaches panels between the peak hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. This is enough to power a home, depending on your solar system’s size and energy needs. Remember that panels will generate some power under cloudy skies or in the shade, and many systems compensate for lower sun exposure by drawing energy from the grid or battery storage.

Solar panels can protect your roof from hail, as they can withstand hail up to 1 inch in diameter that falls up to 50 mph. Your solar panels may experience damage if the hailstones are bigger and travel faster. Your roof can still suffer hail damage, and it’s essential to look for signs and repair issues right away. Roof damage can lead to leaks and water damage inside your home.

Rooftop solar panels supply energy to a single household, where a solar farm can power multiple homes at once with clean energy. Residential rooftop solar panels cost more per watt with a lower project total, and those panels only service the residence they are installed on (in most circumstances). With a solar farm, multiple households can buy into the project and share the overall cost.
