It was not possible to determine the extent of the work that was needed until some boards were removed, but I should have had a written estimate in advance. The work was good but I had sticker shock when presented with the bill that was more than twice what I expected. I blame myself for this, not Dwight who I thought was great to deal with. "The work exceeded our expectations all the way to the cleaning up each day including dusting the furniture and the hardwood floors when complete. We would hire them to clean our house! The painting started with a full day of prep and covering all areas affected with plastic including the floor areas. The quality of the paint and application was excellent. Our kitchen and bathroom cabinets look new. Some drywall was replaced in several ceiling areas and the ceilings painted. They look perfect. They matched the ceiling texture and you would not be able to tell where the work was done. We got our bid about a month ago and they showed up at 8:30 the originally agreed upon date. They worked full days for three days. The workers were courteous and respectful and we felt very comfortable with them in our home. Our previous experience with other contractors had not been close with regard to the responsibility, cleanliness and quality we experienced with painting innovations. "I had the project of interior painting my entire home set in my brain., after having a bout with mold and remediation with a professional company i wanted to get my home painted as soon as i could. Enter Duncan Paint and Restoration. When Tom came to my home for a walk-through the questions started, paint the ceiling, paint kitchen cabinets. Tom made me think that if walls were to be fresh and new, my ceiling and cabinets could be done too. A previous project also left me without a laundry door. My laundry off my kitchen without a door totally dragged down the look i wanted. When i mentioned calling another to put in a door, he said he could actually install it for me. All i needed to do was supply the paint, since part of my home was painted, and a slab door. Also Tom was able to check out a few cracks to make sure they weren't major fixes. Then repaired and painted. You can't even see where they were. All i can say is the work Tom and Daniel supplied was top notch.
