Painting Innovations is a licensed and insured paint contractor. We provide residential and commercial interior and exterior painting services in the Greater Kansas City Area. We also help local home and business owners with color selection; unique interior design schemes; paint-failure corrections; coating decks, garage floors, and driveways and additional painting services such as drywall repair. Our commercial capabilities include condominium communities, apartments, perimeter walls/fences, high-rise buildings, new construction, and retail/office space. As a local, family-owned business, we’re always accessible to answer questions and concerns. I've used a lot of painters over the years - many very good - this company was Outstanding. The owner was prompt - professional and friendly. He quoted a great price and followed through. His painting team was fantastic! Would highly recommend them for any big or small job.

We have used Painting Innovations for a number of projects over the years at two different homes, and they always do outstanding work! Our most recent project was the exterior painting of our home along with staining of our deck and pergola. Everything went great from start to finish! David, who is one of the owners, is amazing to work with and communicated with us frequently through project completion. William led the team who did the work, and he was also awesome to work with - friendly, professional and very detail oriented. The crew took a lot of care with the prep, painting and staining, and the end result is beautiful. We will continue to use Painting Innovations for all of our exterior and interior painting needs.

Very professional, quick, thorough and detail-oriented. I was pleased with the process and the finished work. We had 6 different paint colors for the entire main floor of the house and they did ceiling and trim touch-ups to correct a previous painter's mistakes. It was a 4-day job and we didn't have to vacate the house. Will definitely use again.

My contact was Brad Shaw. He was professional, responsive, timely, a great communicator, and very detail oriented. The bid was very fair-not the most expensive by far, but also not the cheapest. Brad was very patient with me when I was trying to decide on a paint color. His crew painted the exterior of my home, including the trim. They also replaced all of my wood rot. When the job was done he did a walk around to ensure I was happy with the finished product. He was actually pickier then I, and found some areas needing touch up that I didn't even see. I would highly recommend using him and would myself hire him again!

Cabinet Refacing and Refinishing
Painting Innovations scheduled an appointment only a few days out to come out and check out the job and provide an estimate to perform the work. They showed up on time and seemed to do the expected level of due diligence in order to provide an accurate estimate. They got my e-mail address and phone number, left, and I never heard from them again. I have no idea why they left me hanging, but I ended up just selecting one of the other two bids which I received within 2 days of those company's estimator's visit.

So pleased we chose Painting Innovations for our interior project. David, Brad, and crew were exceptional -- excellent communication & scheduling follow through; meticulous prep & workmanship; attention to detail top-notch; immaculate clean-up upon completion. We also appreciated their guidance and advice regarding paint & stain colors and sheen. The job was completed ahead of schedule, and David wouldn't accept payment until after our satisfaction was ensured following a final walk-through. Highly recommend. Extremely impressed! The estimate was reasonable, the job was performed professionally, all were expert in prep and painting, including some extra, unexpected items. The painters were efficient in their set up, and process and very prompt regarding daily start and finish times. All were kind, polite and seemed very motivated. Our job was expected to take 3-4 days and was completed + clean up after ~ 2.5 days. Painting Innovations were easily the best painters we've ever had. We look forward to hiring them again. I can't write enough good attributes.

We first hired Painting Innovations to paint the exterior of our home. The bid wasn't the cheapest or most expensive. Middle of the 4 bids. Best decision ever made. They have painted my pool area, and several interior room and I have been extremely happy. They have helped me when a contractor has really messed up my Livingroom remodel to make it what I had envisioned. Not sure on a paint color or type? Dave is the Man. Just can't say enough good things about this company. A+++

I did not select this vendor. I had 4 bids and just felt most comfortable with another vendor. No praise or complaints, price was within reason with other bids but don't feel I can rate since I did not use this vendor.

I am delighted with the work and resulting product. The entire process was handled in a professional manner, from the first review of the house, to the prep and painting, to the cleanup after. As we have a wood house, there were many places that had suffered from the hard weather we had this year which had to be repaired or replaced. They did it all, plus the painting and did a beautiful job at it. I highly recommend this company for exterior house painting.

I love David! He came out to give me a bid after being up all night with his dad who was ill at the time. The real measure was a couple of months after the cabinets were painted, there were some cracks due to weather. He came over and fixed them With no charge at all. He is trustworthy and comes when he says he will.
