J Colbert Painting is a locally owned and operated painting company specializing in restoring kitchen cabinets. We re-stain, refinish, enamel and use various faux techniques to produce a custom style cabinet. Many customers are amazed at how there old yellowed cabinets can be transformed to a completely new style. All our cabinet doors are sprayed and dried at our shop producing a beautiful final product. Many companies today offer a Jiffy Lube approach to redoing cabinets with a 1-2 day finished product. Restoring older cabinets takes time and a lot of hard work to do it right. I have over 20 years experience in the painting industry. We are prompt, we are clean and very considerate of our customers. Before all our jobs we work with our customers to produce a sample cabinet to finalize exactly what they want. We don't take any shortcuts and believe in doing the job right. Judd was professional, prompt and a pleasure to work with. He is meticulous and did an amazing job of painting our existing cabinets. I remodeled my kitchen and hired Judd to paint my kitchen cabinets, changing from wood to an off white. Judd was fantastic start to finish. He's really a nice guy and his workmanship is excellent. He showed up each day when he said, and his attention to detail is great. He did such an excellent job that I asked him to paint my base boards around my hardwood floors. His price was reasonable and my kitchen looks brand new. If you're looking for someone to refinish or paint cabinets I'd 100% recommend Judd. I hope to hire him again in the future. Thanks Judd!

We knew we would hire Judd right after meeting him and discussing our large project. He is very professional and so easy to work with. Judd went above and beyond and did superior quality work. He does the work himself and pays close attention to detail and answers all questions. He sanded our old honey yellowed cabinets and fireplace and stained them a dark walnut which came out beautiful. He sanded and painted other old oak trim as well as painted a high entryway, kitchen and living room - all beautiful. We would not hesitate to hire Judd again and highly recommend him for your staining and painting projects.

Amazing! We remodeled our kitchen; tearing out our existing cabinets and building new. I wanted a gray color, so we had Judd paint them for us instead of staining. Not only did he do an amazing job, but he was prompt and professional and even accommodated our need for a schedule change on several occasions due to our countertops being delayed. He was reliable and trustworthy; I even gave him our garage code so he could come and go as needed while we were at work. He went above and beyond and even painted several sample cabinet doors in advance so I could pick out a color. I would hire Judd again in a heartbeat for any future painting projects. I highly recommend him!!
