We only use sub-contractors for certain concrete or roofing applications and we make sure they carry all the insurance needed for your protection. We offer free estimates. The balance is do upon completion of the job and final approval by the customer.

"The windows and gutters seem o.k. The siding is very noisy and is continually popping and creaking. The noise is very annoying. The original vinyl siding made NO noise and DID NOT pop and creak. When a piece of siding blew off the house, one could see how the siding was installed. Please refer to attached photo."

Cabinet Contractors questions, answered by experts

Any of your garage shelves should be able to hold heavier loads, but it’s best to place heavier items on middle shelves. The only reason for this is to prevent injury—lifting heavy loads from down low requires squatting or bending over, which can lead to back injury, and lifting heavy loads off of high shelves in the garage can be especially dangerous if you drop them.

The designs are different enough that a conversion would mean more or less fully replacing cabinets to switch between the two. However, if you really like the frameless look but you have face frame cabinets, you may be able to mimic the style by replacing your cabinet doors with full overlay ones.

Yes, you can replace a kitchen drawer if it breaks or malfunctions. The best plan of action is to measure the existing drawer, purchase a replacement with similar drawer slides, and install the new one. You can reuse the current drawer hardware if it’s still functional or spring for new handles if you want.

While most kitchen island installations do not require a permit, some situations do. Any major kitchen renovation will require one, and depending on your municipality, you might also need one if you install new plumbing or electrical work.

Your kitchen island installation pro will be able to determine if you need a permit for your job, which can run you between $460 and $2,900, depending on the permits required.

The order of the steps for your kitchen remodel depends on the project scope, layout, and contractor availability. However, typically, you would install plumbing and electrics first, then insulation and drywall, before moving on to the flooring, cabinetry, and countertops. Appliances usually go in last. You can then take the time to add the fixtures, hardware, and other final personal touches.
