Not so well. Crew left a bit of a mess with paint and caulking. Rich sent out a different painter to fix the mess the installers made. Long term has been the real issue. After having water leaking on several occasions, I decided to have a window installer (who was a referral from a real estate agent friend) come out to evaluate. He suggested that the window unit be removed and re-installed. I agreed as I thought it was worth the $200 to find out how the windows were installed. We found that there were gaps in the caulking and the caulking used was hardened as they used inferior caulk (not window caulk at $16 a tube) that did not remain flexible. The window came right out as there were no screws holding it in place; only nails. Finally, there was not one inch of flashing tape used to seal out air and water leaks! All of these are described as industry standards for a basic replacement window installation. I now wish I would have paid the extra $600 and had Windura of Overland Park install the windows. I will end up pays more than that for the rework. Quality Home Improvement of Paola KS might do a fine job with other types of work, but there is no way I would recommend them for a replacement window install job.

The project got started good but permits were not right and it was shut down by the county. In the mean time it rained for a month and the house Sat for a month with nothing done and another two months with minimal work. Ones things got going again it went fairly quick but quality of work was the issue then. The hard wood floors had to be redone 4 times, only two of the 8 doors would shut properly, none of the window screens ordered fit the Windows, the kitchen exhaust hood was not installed properly and the cabinets they built where installed with low quality components and are falling apart. None of this has been fixed and will not be according to them until there is an additional 3000 paid

Rich's crews did a great job and were very quick. They didn't keep as clean of a work area as we'd have liked but they did come back in and clean up before the snow covered it all up. A few months later the ballusters on the stairway were falling off due to the wood expansion/shrinkage. Rich sent out a crew to fix them it the same week and all is well. They did a great job!

Went the extra "mile", helped repair things not on the estimate & didn't charge, were nice just to help me in any way. Professional, excellent work, prompt, great workers & excellent subcontractors.
