"My yard has never looked better, a friend recommended Imagine Restorations to me a few weeks ago, I called them and I find out that they are owned by a Dad and 2 sons, River and Ryan, who is can't brag on enough, super professional, on time and superb workmanship, they went over and beyond for us, we ended up going for a cedar picket shadow box fence, they even out bid a close friend of mine, they did all this in 2 days practically, the wood was delivered a day in a half late so they had to improvise, if you need a fence or need a fence repaired, call Ryan or River over at Imagine Restorations. RIVER- (816)598-7860 and RYAN (573)289-9721... you won't regret doing business with these guys."

"David did a good job for me. He did exactly what we agreed on. Installed grasses and shrubs and put rock down. Also installed pavers. His company is professional and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend Four Seasons Landscaping & Hardscaping LLC"

"Incredible experience with Zach. Very communicative and professional. Gave us several different options for our project at different price points, clearly explaining the pros and cons of each option. Work was done in a timely manner and of the highest quality. In the world of carpentry, professionalism and communication are sometimes areas that leave alot to be desired. Zach was communicative, responsive and professional every step of the way! A joy to work with. Top quality work. Highly, highly recommend."

"We hired KC Builds to install custom cabinets around our fireplace. The project turned out just as we had hoped. They were able to work around several changes we requested and completed the project in a timely manner. Highly recommend."

Carpentry questions, answered by experts

Carpenters are trained to take on a wide range of home projects. You can hire a carpenter to do framing, roofing, build custom furniture, and make significant upgrades to your home. General carpenters are usually able to handle most jobs. However, you may also choose to hire a carpenter who specializes in a specific type of carpentry.

A few signs that you need a new door frame include:

  • The door no longer fits properly in its frame and sticks or scrapes.

  • You notice cracks, holes, or rotting.

  • You feel a draft coming from around the door when it’s closed.

  • You find yourself frequently needing to make repairs.

Costs depend on furniture type, size, complexity, and whether additional modifications are needed.

Costs depend on desk size, labor, included features like drawers or motorized height adjustments, and required wall anchoring.

It’s sometimes safe to replace a load-bearing wall with a beam, but you need a structural engineer to sign off on the project. You’ll also likely have to upgrade to a steel I-beam or another material that’s stronger than wood to maintain the level of support you need without the wall underneath.
