"Simon came out and spent a lot of time looking at the plumbing in our 40 year old house. He found the sources of the problem and said repairs would need to be performed and asked I wanted to have someone come out and provide and estimate. Jay came out the next morning and looked at the situation described by Simon and gave us a couple of options to solve the problem. He saved us a lot of money that another plumber might have charged us to do the job differently. Both men were very professional, polite and showed up on time. In addition they both wore masks while in our house."

"Dean and his team replaced showers in two of our bathrooms. The guys were great with communication, punctual, friendly and extremely tidy (which I greatly appreciated). I will recommend them to anyone and would hire them again for future projects."

"Carlos was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment he arrived, he was professional, knowledgeable, and determined to find the root of the problem with my tub drain. Instead of just offering a temporary fix, he carefully diagnosed the issue, replaced the necessary parts, and made sure everything was working perfectly before he left. My shower and tub now drain flawlessly and work better than they have in years. Carlos took the time to explain what was wrong, answered all of my questions, and treated my home with respect by leaving the work area spotless. It's hard to find contractors who are this honest, skilled, and dedicated to quality workmanship. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about doing the job right the first time, I highly recommend Carlos. His expertise, professionalism, and attention to detail exceeded all of my expectations. Thank you, Carlos, for an outstanding job!"

"Kelsey is a skilled and knowledgeable plumber. Her co-worker Ben was also excellent. I feel very lucky that she was assigned to my service call. I have recommended Anthony to several people. I had some long standing problems and her diagnostics were spot on and I corrected with patience and skill"

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Due to the high temperature, using stainless steel vent pipes for your tankless water heater’s exhaust vent is best. Also, it is safe to use a flexible vent duct as the exhaust fan. If installing the exhaust fan yourself, make sure you are using heat-resistant silicon to connect the exhaust vent and the duct on your water heater.

Yes, rats can come up through drains. They can crawl through basement floor drains, lateral house drains, and roof drains. Installing rat blockers in your drains is the best way to repel rats and prevent them from entering your pipes. These are one-way valves that allow water and waste to flow out but keep rats from getting in.

Replacing a toilet typically takes two to four hours. Several factors can impact this timeline, including the condition of the old toilet, flange, flooring, and pipes. If a professional discovers issues like a cracked flange, damaged flooring, leaky pipes, or a broken wax ring, the installation will take longer. Additionally, some toilets, such as wall-mounted or in-wall-tank models, are more complex to install and may require cutting into and repairing drywall, which adds to the project time. Given the weight of toilets and the importance of proper placement, it is often best to hire a professional for the job.

Yes, plumbing in a mobile or manufactured home is different from that in a traditional home. The most significant differences relate to the design, location, and materials used. In a standard home, plumbing pipes typically run through the walls. In a mobile home, which is not a permanent structure, the pipes are often smaller and routed through the floor or a crawl space underneath the home. Additionally, the building codes, permits, and materials used for mobile home plumbing can differ from those for standard homes. For specific details about the design and installation of your mobile home's plumbing, it's best to consult a certified professional plumber with experience in this area.

For a long time, copper was our only plumbing material option. Thankfully, that is no longer the case. Copper pipes have been used since the 1940s and became most popular around 1963. It wasn’t until the 1990s that PVC pipes became popular and began to replace copper pipes. Therefore, a house built before the 1990s without recent updates will likely contain more copper pipes.
