Husband asked about 2 other issues (leaking bathroom sink and issue with shower faucet), and the provider only told him where to get parts and what to do instead of helping fix the issues. "This started with a persistently dripping bathroom faucet. The faucet was probably original to my mid-1960s ranch house. As long as I was calling a plumber in, I also wanted a dripping toilet (it was leaking around the handle used when flushing) repaired. I was pleased that a plumber was available the same day I contacted True Blue even though these repairs were certainly not an emergency. Anthony R., the plumber, came as scheduled late that afternoon. He was very competent and professional. He replaced the bathroom faucet with a modern new faucet because it really did need to be replaced. (My original faucet was so old that the metal at the base seemed to be peeling/twisted up--it was one of those faucets with the handles looked like plastic jewel knobs.) I examined the new faucet prior to it being installed and can verify its quality and heaviness. The new faucet has an arched neck where the water comes out and gives some height between the water coming out and the bathroom sink that wasn't there before. When turning off the water to the house, Anthony recommended replacing that on/off valve as well as a piece above that which regulates water pressure to the house. I'm sure both of these were also original to the house. The on/off valve was really corroded and I turned it gingerly when I had to turn the water off/on. As far as the water pressure goes, the Kansas City Water Department has been doing a lot of work in my neighborhood and will probably continue to do so and may at some point in time actually work on my street. To defend my house against the water pressure changes this can cause, I thought this change was also needed. I'm not sure I quite understand how it works, but apparently the water pressure had something to do with the toilet leaking. Be that as it may, I haven't had any problems with the toilet since the changes were made although the toilet was also worked on. These repairs were quickly done and did not involve a lot of time. I think this was a good value even though what was basically a leaky faucet expanded to replacing a water pressure device and the house on/off valve and cost about $1200. (I lived in another house where the house on/off valve had a box dropped on it which broke it, causing a major flood as water poured out. That's destructive so that's why I appreciate Anthony being proactive and making the recommendations he did as well as being able to complete it during this visit.)"

Scheduling was a little different than other deals I've done--I had to call them to get on the list. But it worked out fine.

"John did an excellent job!! He had to take out an entire shower, redo some of the plumbing, then tile the whole thing back. He made sure all of the plumbing was fixed correctly. He worked patiently to get all of our tile, accent pieces, pebble shower floor, fixtures, and shelves installed perfectly. He had to align spots in the wallbord to get the tile to lay correctly. He took his time to do it right and did a beautiful job. He also fixed a variety of other plumbing, etc issues we had. I highly recommend John and will use his company again."

"If you want an immediate reply to your inquiry, professionalism, and friendly and quick scheduling of service, Anthony at DTS Plumbing is your guy. Anthony came to my house on a Monday to determine if I needed to replace my sump pump (I had seen slight amount of water following a huge storm) and possibly install a back-up battery unit. He recommended a new sump pump to replace my old system (original to the house), but advised me NOT to spend the extra money on a back-up battery unit. He could have easily have told me to spend that additional cash on a back-up, but instead won a customer for life with his honesty and integrity. My new sump pump was scheduled for install just two days after Anthony visited. It took him less than 10 minutes to complete the job, and I was immediately on my way back to work. "We hired Sissi company to first remove mold from our roof shaded by a big tree. Lewis did a great job and sprayed chlorine in the end to kill the mold that were hard to remove. We then hired him to paint our outside wooden wall. Lewis painted quite carefully and respected and accommodated our requests. After this work done, he did basement waterproofing project for us as well. It saved our basement from flooding during this winter. In the end, Lewis also fixed our water sink sewage pipe and several lights in the house. Lewis is also a very friendly guy and he charged reasonably. I strongly recommend him."
