I LOVE MY REPLACEMENT WINDOWS AND SLIDING GLASS DOOR!  Their overall time management is terrible.

When the original call came in to say the windows were in and ready to be installed, a date and time was scheduled.  The scheduled date was December 17th and I was told to expect the installers to arrive between 8 to 10.  I took the day off from work.  Then I received a call telling me to expect them between 9 -11.  Since I had already scheduled another repair/maintenance I was not able to change my vacation request.  I got another call stating that they would arrive between 11 - 1.  They arrived closer to 1:00.  They were not able to finish that day and I was told about 6:30 pm that they would need to return the next day (Dec 18th).  I had to call my job the next morning to let them know that I needed to extend my vacation leave request.  When they installed the patio doors the correct trimming was not included with the doors and they had to trim and temporarily apply what they had been given.  We had to reschedule a different time for them to come to install the correct trim.  It was originally scheduled on a Saturday.  I had received numerous calls to reschedule the time for that day.  Finally, I was called and told because the weather was getting bad they were not able to make it at all.  So a Saturday morning was wasted waiting.  One day I got a call that they were in the area and was able to meet me to install the trim.  I missed a business lunch to meet with them to take care of the trim.  When I was hanging up the curtains on the patio door I noticed the streaks on the inside of both panels of the patio door.  I again had to schedule vacation time (February 12) to meet the installers to replace the patio door panels.  I took time off that morning from work because they were scheduled to arrive between 8 and 10.  I got a call about 9:30 to say they were about an 1 1/2 hrs out but would get there ASAP.  They actually arrived a little after 10.  Once the panels were installed and the trim put back on it was a little after 11.  Luckily I was able to make it to work by noon.  That weekend I noticed there were cracks and pieces missing on the door trim they replaced so I called and sent a picture of the problem to Window World.  They had someone come out 4 different times before they got the right piece ordered and replaced.  Window World did call several times to apologize and to make sure I wasn't too inconvenienced.  After they got the correct piece order and the door fixed they haven't called or make any contact with me.

So it was a huge relief that it turned out so well, and of course a testament to how care the crew was. A few days later Brenda, one of the owners, followed up, and she did a great job of making sure I was happy with the work and that everything had gone well."

"From the estimate to the completed project they were very responsive and professional. The men who removed and replaced the windows were conscientious. I have received many compliments on the appearance of the windows, you can see that they are excellent quality and they were reasonably priced. "I had to speak to at least 5 different people in the prosses and communication between them wasn't always accurate. Their suppliers caused delays, in particular the glass door. First instaler was very good but had to wait a month for the doors. Not happy with door, they seem fragile and hang very loose. Expected much better for $10'000. Don't have a good idea what to expect because each process ie: sales, measuring, 'dispachers , instalers, is a different person and start over with questions."

"The sliding glass door they showed me was not the door they installed. Not same quality (my opinion) and no lock. When installing they broke a string of patio lights, and said they would replace them when they came back to place the windows, No clean up of the shattered glass on my patio. They called me the day the windows came in and wanted to install that day, I had to request a time 2 days later when someone would be at the house. They installed the windows, and there is a slight tear in the screen of one just above the latch. For the price I would think the screens would be metal, not vinyl. In fairness, they did install the patio door next day service. But I was not there to **verify** the window installation to remind them of the patio lights, or seek some kind of reimbursement for the breakage, and I did not see the torn screen until I stayed at the house the following week. Great salesman, just not fantastic products or follow up. Secretary told me there would be a 30% discount, I never saw any printed pricing, just what the salesman quoted me, I did not see any discount, but I needed the door ASAP so agreed, my fault for not comparing products or prices."
