"EXCELLENT!! I am so impressed with Anthony's, I never get tired of giving them great reviews! Gary King is excellent to work with. He is professional and extremely knowledgeable; I don't know what we would have done without his help on our boiler and all five AC units! He is pleasant to work with."

"Erick and his crew took out our garbage disposal, dishwasher, and replaced the oven hood in the kitchen. They replaced the old wooden baseboards (which had mold) and toilets in the bathroom. They also installed a water softener and replaced our water heater. Erick and his workmen were extremely kind and polite, being perfect gentlemen while in our condo. While installing the new toilet when they noticed an issue that could cause water to leak to the unit below our Erick sought to remedy the situation so that would not occur and his crew worked late to fix the crack and install the new toilet. Erick was flexible and was willing to incorporate any changes we needed. When the work was completed, Erick only charged us the amount of his original quote. We plan to contact Arcadia in the future for additional work we need to have done."

"Great experience with Flame Tech. George was knowledgeable and responsive. He provided an accurate estimate over email based on a number of photos and a few phone conversations which streamlined the bid process considerably. They replaced my AC in a few hours for a fair price and educated me on other safety considerations related to my furnace. He also helped me diagnose a rattle in my air ducts that would have given me fits. Good price, know-how, and customer service, I would use Flame Tech again."

*** I have recently added the Nashville area to my service coverage. Since I can do most of my services remotely with you over the phone, I am hoping to eventually open up to larger markets and help people from having to take their computer in to get it fixed, if it has internet access, I can usually fix it over the Internet. Just trying to do more to help my Angies List customers!!******** I am a sole proprietor that works out of my home. I am my only employee, but I have over 20 years experience fixing computers, and providing superior customer service. I work on a flat rate service, and don't charge by the hour because I feel it's important to educate the customer on what the issue is/was, and how to avoid it in the future. I feel that local service companies (my competition) have been overcharging customers for years. I offer a first time customer discount of 10% but I will offer 15% off for first time customers referred by Angies List. I've lived in the Huntsville area most all my life, so I know the area very well. I will never use a subcontractor as I am very picky about making sure that if my name and company is associated with something, it will be the best experience my customer has ever had, and using sub contractors won't ensure that, so I prefer to do all the work myself. Lastly, I should point out that I am a former offensive lineman for the University of Southern Mississippi and was Brett Favre's center his freshman year at Southern. I went on to play for Tom Landry in his last year, but gave up pro football early on to pursue my passion of fixing computers. If I didn't have bills to pay, I would do this for free because I love it! If you have a computer problem, I promise you that you couldn't find a better technician that will care about you as a customer, and not about the bottom line. I am always available, but don't always answer my phone, but if you leave a message, I promise to back with you as soon as possible...and figure out how to get your issue resolved in a quick, efficient and economical manner. Thanks so much for reading my ad, and I look forward to working for you!

"We decided to update our 32-year old home?s kitchen in April 2012.  Paul and Linda helped us design a useable and beautiful space, which I can?t even believe is our kitchen.  We went from soffits above small cabinets and a peninsula with cabinets hanging down, blocking the family room, to a very open design with a huge island and wall cabinets all the way to the ceiling.
The work included:  All new cabinets with pull-out trays and soft-close doors and drawers and fantastic LED under-cabinet lighting; installed our door and drawer pulls; new travertine and mosaic backsplash; granite counter-tops; a fantastic sliding door where a regular door had been and new outside steps at this door; a lot of drywall work on the walls and ceiling, plus painting the ceiling and walls; new plumbing and faucet at the sink; a new vent to the outside for the stove (which was a very involved process); new LED can lights and pendants over the island; and many new electrical outlets. They also moved a ceiling light fixture to the living room and put up a new outside light over the new door.
I can?t say enough about Rex and Jamie.  Rex is a magician at making things look perfect and Jamie?s attention to detail in the electrical and plumbing areas was greatly appreciated.  Linda was a huge asset in choosing the elements of the remodel.
There were a couple of problems but they were successfully resolved.
The job was longer than originally expected, but Paul was working toward giving us the best value for our money by making sure we had quality products.  Even though we spent more than we originally budgeted, we got a very high-quality, beautiful remodel that has undoubtedly increased the value of our home."

Install Boiler questions, answered by experts

Probably not. Moving a boiler to a new location is a very different prospect from replacing it in the same spot, and significantly more expensive. Plus, boilers are typically carefully positioned in proximity to pipes and radiators when installed. Homeowners may want to move boilers to free up space, prevent freezing problems that have happened in winter, or solve a noise issue—but it’s a much more costly proposition.

The best time of year to purchase or replace an HVAC system, including components like an air conditioner or furnace, is during the off-season—spring and fall. During these periods, HVAC professionals are less busy than in summer and winter, when extreme temperatures create urgent demand. Shopping during the off-season can lead to savings of 10% to 15% on an AC unit and allows you more time to find the best deal and other cost-saving incentives. Typically, air conditioning units go on sale in the fall after demand drops, while furnace prices tend to decrease in the spring.

Warmed or cooled air can escape your home through drafty windows and doors. If you notice any gaps, be sure to caulk and seal them. You can also hire a local pro for an energy audit to get a list of energy-saving recommendations.

Finally, check your insulation. It can settle in over time and become less effective. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimates that you can save an average of 15% on heating and cooling costs (or 11% of total energy costs) by sealing leaks and making sure attics, crawl spaces, and basements have a nice layer of insulation.

The main difference between an outdoor wood furnace versus an outdoor wood boiler is what each appliance is heating. An outdoor wood furnace burns wood to create heat, which warms the air and moves it through the ducts in your home. An outdoor wood boiler uses the heat from burning wood to warm water, which goes through pipes to radiators in the home.

If you want to have hot water in your home and part of your plumbing system, you'll need a hot water heater. An alternative may be to heat water as you use it, such as by boiling what you need on the stove. But that's much less efficient and takes considerably longer than hooking up a water heater. Another option is to rely on appliances, such as a dishwasher or washing machine, that heat the water themselves.
