"Fantastic job by Zane and his crew. I had them remove a tree more than 5 years ago and we were so impressed by his work ethic, manners, pricing and reliability, that we asked him to come back and take care of removing several of our trees. Just like last time, we are extremely happy with his work."

"They did a superior job. You do not have enough rating to give them. They did a very good job on cleaning up after themselves. Other than the bare spots on the trees where they took the limbs out, you could not even tell they were here."

"Two Friend's tree service it’s true to their word! They do an excellent job at a fair price which these days is something that’s hard to find. I’ve used them for all of my rental properties and my personal home. I would highly recommend them."

"Exceeded expectations in every way. Very knowledgeable about the 'why's' and source causes of issues and reads up to be extremely fluent before beginning work. This is hard to find, we've been through many tree services including the 'big' guys and highly reputable arborists. Cody blows them away. On top of his care and interest in the subject matter, he's very kind and communicates extremely well to set expectations and guide you through making the decisions that result in what you are trying to achieve. Can't recommend him enough. Will be using for all future work. A true gem."

"They did a good job, on time. The job was done on a rainy day, but that wasn't a problem. Very professional. If I have tree work in the future, I will definitely call Forest Keepers."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Planting trees far enough from your foundation will protect your home from root damage, but if you’re dealing with existing trees, you can still guard against roots. Root barriers form a physical boundary that will prevent roots from encroaching on your foundation and can help save you from expensive foundation repair costs.

If a tree stump is removed properly, the chances of a tree growing back are low. However, if a tree has a robust root system, roots can sometimes sprout and someday grow into a tree. The chance of regrowth will depend on several factors such as the type of tree, soil quality, and strength of the root system. In general, it is not recommended to plant a tree where a stump was removed.

Service costs depend on several factors, including the system's age, type, and size, as well as the complexity of the repair. Labor costs and whether replacement parts are necessary also play a significant role.

Removing tree stumps is a dangerous and complex job that requires a high level of expertise. Many landscapers specialize in general lawn care and maintenance. But, some may have the proper licensing and qualifications needed to safely remove tree stumps. In most cases, though, landscapers will refer you to a local tree removal or stump grinding company.

Generally, homeowners do not need permission to cut down a tree on their own private property, but there are several exceptions where a permit may be required. You might need a permit if the tree is particularly large, old, or a protected species, such as a heritage tree. Trees located near public property or power lines can also be subject to special rules. Additionally, many local governments and homeowners associations (HOAs) have regulations controlling which trees can be removed to manage an area's appearance or prevent the spread of invasive species. To avoid hefty fines, it is crucial to check with your local government and HOA to determine if a permit is needed before you begin.
