The solution came in the way of a trip to Lowes. Craig helped me pick out a fan capable of properly clearing the bathroom moisture plus the insulated venting to be installed in the attic. He had enough time to do my side of the building as well. Moreover, he also addressed a difficult to remove bathroom shower knob that was collecting grime. My tenants are trilled to have the bathroom vented properly and a clean shower knob. I'm trilled that Craig caught and resolved a severe issue that I didn't even know existed.

We drove 90 minutes to let them in to get this done. Two young women from Merry Maid arrived on time, brought their own cleaning supplies, one of them reviewed a few of the details with me. We left while they cleaned and returned approx. 2 hours later. It smelled cleaner. The lead girl said she had trouble with one of the blinds that was actually broken. I should have looked things over better before they left, but since we had a detailed list, I didn't imagine they would actually not do it all. Later I found the broken blind was actually cleaner than some of the other blinds. The sliding glass doors had a huge cobweb in the corner, the blinds on it weren't clean. The bathrooms and some areas of the carpet weren't cleaned around the edges. The ceiling fans were not dusted at all. The kitchen appliances were only half done. I called Merry Maid to tell them of my disappointment. They offered to send someone back out, but I refused the offer. They went right to work repairing several holes in the smooth plaster of my kitchen ceiling where devices had been removed and where a previous workman had stepped through my ceiling from the attic. The plastering job was so well done that there is no trace of it. They returned the following day to paint.
The only problem was that the painter was using some generic paint was unlabeled and he didn't know exactly what the finish would be. I had specifically requested (both on the phone and that morning) that the finish be like the existing semi-gloss or satin. It turned out that the finish was flat. When I notified the owner of this, he was extremely willing to come back and repaint the ceiling, even though, I said "nevermind". He insisted because he wanted me to be completely satisfied. So the next day the two workman returned to repaint the ceiling. I declined because I had guests coming and it seemed like too much trouble.
Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the workmanship, I can't imagine a better quality job. We have used CertaPro Painters a couple of times in the last year. They painted almost the entire interior of our home, including ceiling replastering and painting. The team members were all very polite and respectful of our home...and were very professional in their work. We would highly...
It didn't take long for them to do the roof itself, but the workers had bent my gutter and they had to replace it and just now did that. I was not happy. When they got done with the work, I didn't like the way Ace treated me. When I complained about the gutter, they guy that I originally...

Craig made the trip the up from Noblesville to Anderson, on time. Immediately, as we discussed, he climbed up on the roof to make sure the roof vent was not obstructed, which it wasn't. Next, we went inside to take a look at the fan. While the fan was running, Craig's assessment was that it...

My name is Barrett, My friends call me Bear. I am the owner of Three Kings Handyman. I am an Army vet that after being honorably discharged just make ends meet by being a Handyman. Doing any and everything I can working for other people for minimum wage happily because it meant doing something I enjoy. Landscaping and general contracting, Hauling and transporting household goods in the summer. As well as I do Haunted House special effects and design in the Fall. Unfortunately with some of my medical conditions from my service in the military and my work history prior to and after my service, it makes it hard to work full time and I am just now getting back to the point of being able to handle full time work again. I currently have a limited amount of tools at my disposal so my variety of work is limited to General Landscaping and Interior/Exterior Painting and Hauling/Transporting.

"There was a verbal agreement made to remodel our deck to be done 7/8/18. We were told that the deck would be completed in one day. We agreed to purchase all materials and Professional Plus would supply the labor. The agreed upon price was $650. The workers started on 7/8 and got into the demo and realized that the upper post were rotten and should be replaced. We agreed to get the posts and agreed to pay them $100 more for labor. By the end of the day on 7/8, they were not done but were requesting payment. I said I would pay them half, but they said that wasn't enough because they had to pay the owner $150 off the top and still had to pay his other guy. I paid him $500 of the $750. They came back Mon 7/9 and worked for a couple hours and still were not done. They also started using nails instead of screws when we requested screws but said someone else had their drill. Tracy, the lead, said it was getting late and they would have to come back on Tue 7/10. On 7/10 they said they did not have enough materials to finish. I said that I would go get what they needed, but they said they could not stay any longer. We also started pointed out some issues with stairs that they were slanted. He said the 2 stringers we had bought were different sizes. He had informed us earlier in the day regarding this but then said he figured it out so we thought everything was ok but come to find out he proceeded to build the stairs and they ended up be crooked instead of fixing them right. He also did not finish the spindles or framing out the upper portion of the stair railing which left it very unstable and dangerous. I went and got the requested materials that next and text him the next day telling him they were there. He acknowledged the text but that's the last we heard from him. We initially contacted the owner, Frank, on 7/13 and it sounded like he was going to help. We got one follow up text on 7/16 and have not heard anything back even after multiple calls and texts. I do not recommend using this company for any services. Also be aware they operate under multiple company names. R& R, Professional Plus Tree Service and Construction, Robert's Tree Experts and Construction, and Frank's Tree Service."

"Tony was recommended to me on Facebook. Never again. He came to look at some wood rot to give me an estimate. The estimate looked fine so we scheduled the job. He told me he wanted half up front via Paypal, but I told him I was locked out of my account, that I would try, but would prefer bill pay (check sent from my bank.) I tried, but couldn't get back into Paypal, so I set up bill pay and texted Tony to tell him what I had done. I also told him 2 days ahead of the job that the check would arrive in 4 days. He responded ensuring I was sending it to the right address, etc. The day of the job he called me saying he was at my house and asking where I was. I reminded him that he told me I didn't need to be there - the work was entirely external. We moved past that, but then he said I was going to have to leave work and meet him at my bank to pay him since my bill pay check wouldn't come until Thursday. I pushed back on that because I couldn't rearrange my schedule at the last minute. He became aggressive pretty quickly - let me know he had 4 men at my house waiting to work and he was losing money. He also asked why I didn't want to pay him and insinuated I was having a hard time paying him and was going to stiff him. Really?! I mean...just leave dude. If you think someone is going to be that bad of a customer just cancel the job. He also said he was upset about the bill pay because he didn't know about it. That was lie #1 - he did know because I texted him and he responded. So odd. I completely understand his need for payment (half) up front - I just didn't have another option - we agreed to reschedule the work for Thursday. He came back Thursday and we did a walk around my house to confirm the work to be performed. I made a list as we walked and left for work. I received a call awhile later from the hardware store to pay for materials over the phone - something we had agreed to up front. I gave my cc info and the call ended. Tony call me back minutes later saying I needed to provide the extra 3 digits of my zip code. I asked if he meant the plus four, but he said no it was 3 numbers. I asked if he wasn't referring to the CID code but he said no the zip code. I was looking it up (not memorized), but before I could find it he said that he would just pay for it, that I could pay him cash later, and that that particular hardware store never accepts cc payment over the phone. He seemed extremely frustrated with me, but I didn't ask him to do this. And I will never understand why he agreed to pick up materials from a store that he knew wouldn't let me pay over the phone! We met at my bank later in the day so that I could pay him what was essentially the up front deposit. The job was going to take one day (even though he originally said 2-3), so the check in the mail was going to be payment for the remainder. When I got home I inspected the work, but there were a few spots left undone. He texted over the weekend saying the check hadn't arrived as promised and suggested he was going to just come over and get a check. It felt aggressive. I told him I would call my bank Monday to see what was going on. I did that, but didn't get any answers until I got home that night - the check was returned to me undeliverable. That's never happened to me before, but of course it happened this time. I texted Tony to let him know what happened - even sent a picture of the check. Said I'd be happy to give it to him once he finished the work. We ended up speaking the next day and he became extremely aggressive very quickly. He lied about what we spoke about during the walk around the morning of the job, lied about how he examined the house during the estimate, and then (this was all him bulldozing the conversation) he threatened to put a lien on my house for non-payment. WHAT ON EARTH!!! He has no integrity and poor communication skills. He lied to me, made harassing statements, and threatened legal action that was completely unnecessary. While part of this conflict stemmed from miscommunication that I am partly to blame for, his response was beyond unprofessional. I decided to pay Tony and to be done with him forever. Like I said at the beginning of my review, he was referred to me, but my experience was so bad I honestly can't imagine how other people can recommend him or how he stays in business."

FAQs for ceiling fan service projects in Waynetown, IN
Standard ceiling fans are the traditional-style fans made from plastic, wood, metal, or fiberboard.
Smart ceiling fans allow you to control it with your smartphone or voice commands.
Dual-motor ceiling fans have two motors that produce more airflow in multiple directions.
Energy-Star ceiling fans are similar to standard fans but can be up to 60% more energy efficient than other fans, lowering your utility bill.
Large ceiling fans work best in large rooms where the ceilings are between 10 and 25 feet high.
If you need to install electrical wiring for your new ceiling fan, contact a local ceiling fan installer to help with this project. If you’re not a licensed electrician, installing wiring yourself could be a code violation. Even worse, this project can be dangerous if not done correctly.
However, if you’re replacing an existing ceiling fan, and you are an experienced DIYer, you may be able to install it yourself. This option might involve purchasing a special ladder if you have a vaulted ceiling. Replacing a ceiling fan yourself can save on labor costs, but if you aren’t handy, be sure to call a pro.
Not every ceiling fan is best suited for every room type. The size of the room dictates the size of your ceiling fan. Consult a ceiling fan installer to determine the right fan for your room and reference this sizing information:
Rooms smaller than 75 square feet require a fan of 29 to 36 inches.
Rooms from 75 to 175 square feet require a fan of 42 to 48 inches.
Rooms from 176 to 350 square feet require a fan of 52 to 56 inches.
Rooms over 350 square feet require a fan of larger than 60 inches.
The time it takes to install a ceiling fan depends on whether you have existing wiring. If you’re swapping out one ceiling fan for another, it’ll take one to two hours for your ceiling fan professional to make the switch. However, if your ceiling fan installer needs to install wiring or if it's a difficult installation—places like high ceilings, porches, or attics—it could take up to four hours for complete installation.
The cost to install a ceiling fan is $250 on average, ranging from $85 to $605 or more, depending on the fan type and size and if additional wiring or switches are required.
Standard fans are typically the most cost-effective, ranging from $50 to $300 to install. Complex ceiling fans like rotational fans with a dual motor are usually the most expensive to install, ranging from $200 to $1,500. It’s important to note that installing a ceiling fan in a room without existing wiring is a very complex job that could cost up to $2,000.

Ceiling fan installation costs depend on many factors, such as installation time and difficulty. Learn more in this complete cost guide for home ceiling fans.
If your ceiling fan isn’t spinning, the problem could be something as straightforward as a stuck switch or a blocked blade. In more rare cases, it might point to a deeper issue inside the fan.
Hiring an electrician to install a ceiling fan will make the process safer and easier. But before contacting a pro, ask yourself these ceiling fan questions.
With the right size, ceiling fans are an energy-efficient way to cool a room. Use this ceiling fan size guide to find the perfect model for your space.
Although the risk is low, there are a few telltale signs that a ceiling fan will fall off your ceiling. This guide explains when to worry (and when not to).
