"If you're lucky, they'll probably fix it. I've had a few interactions with the company. Most of the time they're 'ok'. Unfortunately, they do not perform well when things do not go smoothly. I recently had a technician visit to fix a gas oven igniter. The oven didn't leak, just wouldn't turn on. The technician did the work, said it was fixed, and left. As soon as I turn on the oven you can smell a gas leak. The oven is inoperable and a serious hazard. Contacted the company and politely asked for a technician to return and look at the issue. They told me no one could be there for 6 days, and that there was no possible way it was their fault. Gave me lots of excuses and were obviously looking to charge me for another visit to fix a problem they created. Receptionist (Candace; not sure if there's more than one) was polite until I suggested this could possibly be the technicians fault and then became rude and eventually hung up on me because I really thought they should get someone out sooner to look at a gas leak. I'm not one to burn a bridge. Hopefully, they have active management and the review will do some good."

"hms warranty contracted them for the repair of the burners- hot is only temperature, in May. 1 person tried to lift range, lost washer to exhaust, and couldn't put back but ordered the parts for the burners. Once parts finally arrived 2 people came to repair, but still no exhaust and the parts didn't work. Couldn't get a hold of Appliance Pros so continued to call HMS. They said that parts were delivered but not sure which parts they were referring to. called and emailed HMS several more times. Today my husband called Appliance Pros from a different phone number. He was trying to find out the status and the lady kept talking over him. He raised his voice to ask her to let him finish and she hung up. When he called back she said that the call has been cancelled and hung up. At no point had we blamed Appliance Pros for the issues with the parts because we knew that was up to HMS Warranty, but they did need to repair the exhaust. We just wanted help in getting this resolved. it is now 8-21-18 and no stove."

"Horrible! The workers did not show up each day until about 10am (or later) and would leave around 2-3 pm (and that’s including an hour for lunch) so not much progress on the house daily. I was told my house would be completed within 1-2 weeks, instead it was about 2 months. All that and we were left with a less than mediocre result. I honestly don’t think these people have ever installed vinyl siding before. I have had a lot of the siding fall off and I put back myself, all the top pieces of siding fell off at least once, they came and replaced but the pieces fell off again after they left. I realized they don’t even own the notching tool for the top row pieces (or even know it exists). I had to go purchase this tool, notch the pieces and reinstall myself. Also noticed some of the siding nails were drove in tight, you cannot do this with vinyl siding. It has to be able to move with the temperature changes (can’t wait to see what happens this winter). I still have 2-3 pieces that need replaced but they are at the highest point on my house at the peak (requires a man lift to access) and have been told by the owner several weeks ago they are coming back to fix it, I’m still here, holding my breath. This company might be ok at building a small deck or maybe some bird houses but if your looking for quality craftsmanship, as you should when it comes to your home, this isn’t it."

"American Home Shield (AHS) warranty is replacing my broken microwave with a new one. I received the new microwave on 11/11/2020 and notified AHS it was in my possession. Part of the warranty contract includes the installation of the new microwave. AHS typically assigns contractors themselves. However, this time AHS contracted with C & R Services with a dispatch number on 11/13/2020 for C & R to assign a local contractor to do the install. After two weeks of waiting and not being contacted by C & R or a contractor, I called C & R to follow up on the status. They said it would be 1 to 2 weeks from the date they received the dispatch from AHS. I informed them it had been 2 weeks in which they replied that it would be another 2 weeks. As of today, 12/11/2020, 4 weeks from the date C & R received the dispatch, I have not been contacted by C & R or a contractor. C & R's lack of communication and customer service is absurd. AHS informed me that they do not have any authority over C & R."

"Tech took less than 5 minutes to diagnose the problem and find cost of parts + labor. He used the exact same information I offered to provide over the phone however was told the tech needed to come to the house to give an estimate for repair. That cost was $79+ and the estimate for repair was twice as much as a local company I called after Jerry's service man left. This company is a rip off."
