Tech took less than 5 minutes to diagnose the problem and find cost of parts + labor. He used the exact same information I offered to provide over the phone however was told the tech needed to come to the house to give an estimate for repair. That cost was $79+ and the estimate for repair was twice as much as a local company I called after Jerry's service man left. This company is a rip off.

We had a technician from out to look at our Samsung refrigerator on Tuesday May 22nd. In doing so, the technician suggested that the parts and labor to repair the fridge would be cost prohibitive and the money would be better spent on replacing the unit. We were then charged $79.95 for the Service Trip (no problem, we knew that up front) and at the time did not have an issue with his assessment. On Wednesday morning (the 23rd) we woke up to find one of the drawers in the fridge full of water, which had never happened previously. While in the past we have had some water collect under the drawer, it was a very small amount and would take months to get to the point where it would be noticeable and need to be cleaned up. Following their visit (yesterday) water is now collecting inside the drawer and is at the point it is re-filling the drawer every few hours and needs to be cleaned up constantly (it was cleaned out this morning and was full again by lunch time). I then called Jerry's Appliance to see if they could come back out and take a look at what had changed - obviously something that their Technician adjusted has caused the water to collect much quicker. In doing so, I spoke with Terry York in Customer Service. Terry informed me that they would have to charge us again the $79.95 to come back out - which is absolutely ridiculous, why would I pay for them to come back out and fix an issue they caused. I then asked for a refund of the original $79.95 charge, and was told no, he wouldn't do that. Following that exchange, I asked to speak with his supervisor and he refused to allow me to speak with anyone else, stating that the 'buck stopped with him'. I honestly have never seen such poor customer service, it seems Terry has a lot to learn about how to treat his customers.

An appliance store here in Bloomington referred me to Jerry's. I phoned them on Thursday morning and was treated courteously and given an appointment for Friday. Then their well-designed and detailed web site took over, confirming my appointment and giving me precise information about when the service crew would arrive. They showed up right on time. Tyler and Steve listened to my problem and located what was causing the leak. They corrected the positioning of the filter and showed me how to install the next filter properly. They were friendly and courteous. Tyler explained the charges, which were very reasonable. We are completely satisfied with the service.

Technician showed up at our house and asked what the problem was. Before inspecting the refrigerator they indicated that they don’t repair this due to cost unless the fridge is under warranty. Could have saved time and diagnostic cost if company would have called to discuss before coming to our house.

Useless. When the technician came out, he immediately stated that this recall service had already been completed. We were not aware of this and since Bosch told us it needed to be fixed, we assumed it really did need to be fixed per the recall. My husband then told the technician about the difficulties with the error codes. The technician checked out the dishwasher and stated he couldn't find any problems and that everything seemed to be working fine. He also said, "I hope Bosch will pay for this service call." and told us we did not owe any money. When he left, we loaded the dishwasher and ran it and surprise, error codes. The dishwasher won't even begin to wash. Fast forward two weeks and we get a bill in the mail for $79.95. The service performed reads as this, "Ran unit through diagnostics, no error indications, no leaks. Billed Bosch for service. Bosch rejected due to being out of parts and labor warranty. Customer responsible for service call. Billing trip charge only." So since Bosch wouldn't pay them for a RECALL (not a parts and labor warranty issue), Jerry's Appliance wants us to pay for their trip out. If they had actually fixed the dishwasher while they were here, I would be happy to pay the bill. When we called to discuss the issue with Jerry's Appliance, they offered to come back out with a repair kit (somewhere around $150), which may or may not fix the dishwasher, at which point they would wave the trip charge. I feel like they just want to collect on their $79.95 and then while out here, charge more for a repairs which they should have done the first time.

Called and they sent Devon who was very professional, quick, and pleasant. He determined the problem quickly, and said he would have to order a part and return the following Friday. He returned with the part and installed it and now the refrigerator is cooling again. Second time I have used Jerry's for the same refrigerator and both times they were great.

It went very well. The technician was very knowledgeable and professional. He was unable to fix the microwave doors, but assured us that the function of the microwave is not hindered by the loose door. He repaired the oven and only charged us for 1 appliance repair as there was nothing he could do for the microwave. I have used them in the past and will continue to do so.

I've used Jerry's before for a refrigerator, which is why I called them again. The repairman (whose name I unfortunately forget) is a delight. He's friendly and VERY thorough. He was able to diagnose what was a complex two-part problem, order parts and install them correctly. This is a very reliable company I would use again.

Excellent. Timely on the first visit and timely on the second visit to install the ordered parts. He was able to get the fridge running at the first visit so I did not lose much food. He advised me that this was a bit of a make-do repair and that I should probably plan to purchase a new refrigerator within the year. I really appreciated his ability to buy me some time to make a thoughtful planned purchase instead of a hasty emergency purchase. *He was also the only repair service of the 4 I called that could schedule me for an appointment later that day.

It took about 3 days for them to be able to come for the first visit which we thought was reasonable. The technician called when he was on his way (and came within the time frame that we expected). He did a preliminary analysis of the problem we were experiencing with a Bosh Dishwasher and a Samsung refrigerator; both needed parts. He called his supplier, verified the parts were in stock and ordered them. He then scheduled a return visit to install the parts. The return visit was covered by the cost of the initial visit so we were not charged a second house call. We had called another local repair service but that company does not work on either Bosh or Samsung appliances. We also learned that Jerry's is the company that Lowe's uses for its warranty work. I was able to ask the repair guy questions about the appliances that had nothing to do with the work he was performing and he was very willing to give me feedback that I found useful. From our experience I highly recommend this company.

Both repairs were relatively straightforward, but the service technician diagnosed them correctly within minutes of arrival. He even had the parts on hand to fix the refrigerator. He ordered the part for the dryer and came back within a week to fix that as well. The technician was polite, helpful and very knowledgable. He fixed it right the first time and at a reasonable price.

This was their second visit, when we first purchased the unit we had some issues. I made an appointment through H.H.Gregg. The technician came out. He did a great job. Very neat, and professional looking. He checked the situation and said the dryer checked out okay, but though there was a problem with the lint. I asked him to recommend us to a dryer vent cleaning company. Our technician was a super individual. Being without a washer/ dryer is one of they worst household problems I would want to handle. I am older and raising my grandchildren. When I mentioned this to the repair company, the actually moved up my appointment. It's little things like this that show how much they care about their customers. This sets them above and apart from other repair services.

I bought a new Frigidaire refrigerator in November of 2014. In early November 2015, the railing assembly snapped without any weight on it, and I called Lowes for service. This is the second call I made to Lowes regarding this appliance in the year that I bought it, and the second time it was serviced by Jerry's.  The first time went off without a hitch. The rep was punctual, and issue resolved right away. The second time, I wasn't so lucky. Here's a breakdown, starting:
-  The technician arrives at 10:34, right around the start of the service window, but gave 10 minutes warning of his arrival, rather than the 30 I had been told. He looks at the piece, and says they have to order a new one. He listed that he was at my residence for 8 minutes, but it was maybe 5. I asked if it would be covered by my manufacturer's warranty, and he tells me that it would be multiple times with no problem.
- Follow up is scheduled. Again, the technician calls within 10 minutes of arriving, rather than 30. He arrives and informs that the wrong part was ordered or shipped, and we have to start over. Again, 8 minutes listed as the time he was there.
- New piece arrives, follow up from the follow up was scheduled. He again does not give 30 minutes, arrives and inserts the piece. Total repair time listed as 7 minutes, but that's being generous. He literally hooked the rail on to the shelf. It was raining that day, and he didn't do anything to cover his feet, thus tracking mud all over my carpet.
I let the above frustrations go due to the fact that my warranty was expiring, and I wouldn't need to deal with them again. However, on 12/12/15, I open a letter from Jerry's Appliance Repair, and it's an invoice for $217.19, and it states that Frigidaire declined the claim. Here's a detailed break down of the bill:
1 Rack Slide $24.26
1 Rack Slide $25.56
1 UPS $10.00
Service Call $79.95
Labor $75.00
I will NEVER use this company again, and urge everyone else to do the same. They've charged me for the wrong part they ordered, and wasted my time to install (for $75) a rail that I could've done myself (but didn't in thinking it could void the warranty). They muddied my house, which I was thankfully able to clean, and then, after ensuring me that the piece was covered, sent me a bill for $217.

My washing machine was still under warranty with Lowe's so I called them when my washer started having problems (it refused to spin out the laundry after the wash cycle). They set me up with an appointment for Wednesday for a repair person from Jerry's to come look at my washer. I ended up having to call Jerry's to reschedule the appointment for Friday. The person who answered the phone was courteous and moved my appointment as well as described to me what would happen--although they could only give me an 8-5 service window when I called, they would send me an email on Thursday to give me a more focused service window for Friday. On Thursday I received the email saying the repair person would arrive between 8-12 and that I was the second person in line for maintenance on Friday (indicating to me that the repair person would come earlier in the maintenance window). At about 8:15am I received a phone call from the repair person telling me that he would arrive in about 30 minutes. About 30 minutes later he arrived and examined my washer. He explained what the problem was, got a part out of his truck, replaced the part in the washer, and did some diagnostic testing. He was very nice and very fast.

I have a warranty on my dryer and when it failed, the machine helpfully gave me a phone number which linked me to the warranty department, and they contracted my job to Jerry's Appliance Repair. Theyweren't able to come for about a week, and then did not have all the parts needed. So it was about another week before the parts arrived. It was frustrating to be without my dryer for so long, but the technician who came to do the job was prompt, clearly knew his stuff, and quickly made the repairs. There was no charge to us.

Replaced the oven "igniter" in a gas range. I called them on a Monday to set up an appointment. We set it up for today (Wednesday). I got an email on Tuesday to reconfirm, and they estimated that the serviceman would be here sometime between 10 and 2, which was fine with me. He called me on Wednesday about noon and said he would arrive in about 30 minutes. He did, and it took him about an hour to complete the whole thing. He cleaned up completely.
I was totally satisfied with my experience, and will certainly use them again if I have occasion to.

They called soon after the appointment was made to indicate that the Wednesday appointment time wasn't available and rescheduled for Thursday. When I explained the refrigerator had been down since last Thursday, they put me on a wait-list in the event of a cancellation. Within 30 minutes received another call saying there had been a cancellation. Joe called me when to let me know he was on his way. He figured out the issue within 10 minutes but in the meantime explained how this model works.  I am very happy that it was a non-issue since we just purchased this refrigerator. But, since we just moved her from the Chicago area, we are in need of an appliance repair company. Jerry's has my vote for the future!
