Ron replaced several rafters that were damaged by mold and used wood that was in the shed to replace other rafters at no additional charge. The original quote was for replacement of damaged plywood sheeting after replacing the damaged sheets Ron went ahead and replaced the rest of the sheeting at no additional charge. He took great care in making sure he matched the color of the shingles that we wanted sending me pictures of sample shingle colors and together we picked the best shade and color for the job. Ron kept us informed from the beginning to the end and the end result is exactly what we envisioned. In the future we will not hesitate to call Megrock Construction for all of our home repair needs."

We scheduled the work in October, after the summer heat. The workers did a beautiful job and all the areas and clean-up look beautiful. The plants seems to be high quality. We had some landscape stones already and they used them to "ring" two areas for us."

"We started this process in July of 2018. The salesman, quite frankly, lied about the company's ability to complete the job in a timely fashion and the conditions under which it could be done. ("We can do it in the fall, temperature above x degrees.") Every workman - and there were several - who came out gave us different conditions under which it could be done and disagreed with what the salesman had said and what the other workmen had said. There was a lot of rain over the winter and they said it could not be done without an ever-changing number of dry days. We had told them the work needed to be done before we put our house on the market in the spring. It went on the market eight months later with the sand work completed but unsealed. We delayed putting it on the market for 2 weeks since our realtor really wanted the sealing done. It had to be re-washed and more sand added, but again, no sealing. Our situation was clearly not a priority for them. They demanded partial payment a couple of months later and we paid them. Then they called in July - fully ONE YEAR later - to ask if we wanted them to finish the job. We have had a lot of rain. I understand that, but in the course of a YEAR, they certainly had time to finish the work. There are ants tunneling through the sand now since it was never sealed. (We were also told that it was "fine" not to complete the sealing.)"

Earl and Dorothy Knapp started Sundown Gardens in 1949 by specializing in growing peonies and perennials for retail sales. They grew and cultivated plant material as cut flowers for purchase. In 1966, Stevan Knapp, Earl and Dorothy’s only child, started the landscape division. To complete the full-service lawn and garden package, Sundown Gardens offered a landscape maintenance service in 1993. The service provides landscaping, hardscape and lawn services. To this day, the service customizes groundskeeping plans for client properties primarily throughout Indianapolis and surrounding areas, including but not limited to: Zionsville, Carmel, Westfield, Fishers and Geist. In 1995, Dorothy and Stevan retired and a few long-standing employees took leadership of the company. The current owners, along with a dedicated team of knowledgeable and skilled experts, continue the Sundown Gardens tradition of expert knowledge coupled with quality installation and top-tier customer service.
