At PG Plumbing we have a simple yet powerful reason for starting our plumbing company: to bring a breath of fresh air to the plumbing industry in Fort Wayne and Allen County. With the rise of large corporate plumbing conglomerates, we noticed the disappearance of the small, locally-owned plumbing businesses that once thrived in our community. This inspired us to step in and make a difference. Our mission is clear: we are here to provide our customers with cost-effective, personal experiences rather than prioritizing profit margins. We understand the frustration that often comes with plumbing issues, and our goal is to alleviate that stress with a service you can trust. We invite you to choose PG Plumbing a local, employee-owned, reliable, and trustworthy team, for all your plumbing needs. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we are committed to providing you with the best service possible. Thank you for considering us as your plumbing partner in Fort Wayne. We look forward to serving you and your community for years to come.

Family owned business with over 10 years of experience handling all your Plumbing needs for residential plumbing repairs. Water, fuel, and drainage systems. **There is a $50.00 trip charge that will be waived if you hire our company.

"Chance was great. He installed our 3-stage water filtration system (US Water sediment, carbon, and Pulsar UV) with an existing softener, a new water heater, and fixed two shower leaks (one drain, one valve). In all of these, he efficiently evaluated each system and made the necessary updates. This was working with a plumbing system originally installed in the 1980s. Fair pricing, and very professional. We highly recommend him."

Since 2013, the professionals of Summers have been proud to serve the Fort Wayne community from our central location. We, however, have been around much longer than that. In fact, our family-owned company is backed by more than four decades of industry experience! From heating to cooling to plumbing to indoor air quality, we can provide a wide range of superior and affordable services. SERVICES THAT WE PROVIDE As an HVAC and plumbing company, we are proud to meet the needs of our Fort Wayne neighbors in a wide variety of ways. From helping protect your basement from flood damage with a sump pump to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a water heater, we can do it all. We are primarily focused on serving residential needs, but we do have a light focus on commercial customers in the local area.

"The staff was incredibly knowledgeable. Even if the cost was a little high the knowledge and work done was worth it. "

At Stidams Plumbing, we specialize in service plumbing, and what that means is that, I'm an expert in home plumbing repairs. Such as clogged drains, broken water lines, leaking faucets, toilet repair, water heater repair, pipe thawing, crawlspace work, attic work, sump pumps, lift pumps, gas line work, excavation, sewer cleaning, faucet, and fixture replacement. I'm a local plumber, who is familiar with the area, and cares about your home.

"Justin was excellent. His skill and knowledge of any area of plumbing were great. We had just moved and needed total replumbing of the house and his bid was very competitive. We ran into so many "surprises" as you do with an older home and nothing fazed him. He worked many extra hours and was able to fix them all and still stay within his original bid. He was punctual, professional, knowledgeable and not afraid of hard work. He was so pleasant and explained everything. He was very nice to have around the house and we recommend him highly."

"Not well at all. Mr. Klotz charged me labor at $100.00 per for 1 1/2 hours. In addition, he purchased a pump at a local Menards for around $150.00 and then charged me a 70% increase above the retail price. I also was billed for the travel time to go to the store after removing the original pump and return to my home. Menards is about 4 1/2 miles from my home. The pump was to have a lifetime warrantee which is now worthless to me since I was not provided with any proof of purchase and since I will not be using Mr. Klotz again, I'm out of luck. When I questioned Mr. Klotz about the difference in the pump cost on-line and what he charged me, he became angry and loud with me stating he charges %70 surcharge and he had to make money somehow. I feel like he took advantage of the fact that I am a female, single home-owner and not smart enough to question the expensive cost of the pump. He also attempting to carry the a replacement pump dripping dirty water up the stairs and through my living room that had brand new carpet. I grabbed a trash bin liner and asked him to put the pump in the liner. I will never call him again but look for a new plumber but will question their billing policies before I use them."

Wells and Pumps questions, answered by experts

Normally, when your well pump turns on or off, you’ll hear a small click. This isn’t anything to worry about, but it can be a problem if it’s clicking continuously. This can indicate that the well pump is short cycling—the pump continuously turns on and off.

This can wear out the motor and provide uneven water flow. If this happens, you may need to get it looked at by a well pump professional to see if you need to repair the switch or pump.

The costs depend on whether you are buying into an existing well or starting from scratch. The average well drilling cost is between $25 and $60 per foot. The average cost to repair a well is between $350 and $1500. If you have a shared agreement and a community association, there will be additional legal and administrative fees.

No, a bigger pressure tank has no effect on water pressure. To increase water pressure in your well water, gently adjust the tank’s pressure settings to a higher psi (pounds per square inch). If you’ve already done this, you can swap out your current pump for one with a higher flow rate, measured in gallons per minute (GPM). You can also call a pro to install a water pressure booster pump in your home plumbing system. If you experience fluctuations in water pressure, replace your current tank and pump with a constant pressure system.

Yes, you can adjust your well pump pressure relatively easily by yourself. You’ll need to remove the cover from your pressure switch and adjust a nut that controls cut-in pressure. Learn more about how to adjust a well pump pressure switch with a step-by-step guide to setting your water pressure.

The right psi for your well pressure tank depends on the tank’s pressure settings. For instance, if yours is set to 30/50 psi (which is common), the ideal psi is 2 to 3 psi below the cut-on pressure—in other words, 27 to 28 psi. However, if it’s at a higher setting of 40/60 psi, 38 psi would be the appropriate level.
