Great phone updates, willing to come on the weekend due to busy work load, called the day of coming out to see if that would be convenient.  Called minutes prior to arrival.  Backed down a long driveway to preserve yard.  Friendly to talk to, very professional.  Allowed billing.  Will use again and would advise others to as well.

Driver called to ask if he could drive on the grass to get close to the septic access,I told him yes. I came home to find he drove through the side yard leaving ruts throughout the yard ,not to be outdone he turned around leaving more ruts. And took a different way out. . I have. Two long ruts in the entire side yard amazingly poor judgement. I called and complained and got a sorry. If you hire them make sure you are there

found the problem of water coming in basement and cleared the slow drain. Use them on apartments for over 30 years most with the farther. Always provide work at a fair price and a nice guy to do business with, honest would be the best word to describe him.

Arrived as promised. Price was reasonable. Did a good job. I would recommend this organization. This is the second time I have used this organization.

The owner had serviced us two years ago and estimated that we'd need to get on a two-year schedule. After the recent heavy rains, the drains started making noises and a quick check of Angie's List revealed that my two years was nearly up. I scheduled the appointment and they came out and serviced my system as smoothly as their first visit. Thanks guys!

Non-emergency basis. I called and left a voice mail that I wanted the septic tank pumped when their schedule permitted. They returned the call a couple of hours and said they would be out the next day. The next day, they arrived, pumped the tank, and left the bill in the door.
I have used them several times over the 28 years I have lived in this house for septic pumping and they have always performed flawlessly.

It had been 10-years since we had our Septic Tank cleaned out. Oh how time flies. We weren't having problems, but didn't want to have any either. Golden Rule was running behind and had a breakdown earlier in the week. I was in a crunch and had to have it done that day but didn't care when. He showed up late in the day, and still managed to do the job for us. A very good job. Very professional, price was reasonable I think and gave us some good advice. I would and will use these guys again.

They are reasonably priced. They are easy to work with and do a good job.

The owner had informed us of the extra cost of an after hours service, but under the circumstances it was not an unreasonable charge. When he arrived, it turned out the location of the septic access was not where I was told when buying the house, but the owner was able to quickly find the tank and dig out the access panel. The service was performed with professionally and great patience as I used this opportunity to learn more about what I should know about septic systems (being a former city dweller). There were no extra or surprise charges for the service, everything was as verbally quoted. While he was there, he cleared the pipe between the house and septic tank which actually saved me money (sorry Roto-Rooter) and I won't hesitate to call Golden Rule again in the future.

The service man was polite and he did snake the main pipe, he just didn't do anything else, nor have any answers for most of my questions.

It isn't working any better. I used them years and years ago and I really liked them but I wasn't quite so satisfied this time.

They are excellent and have always been very reasonably priced. They have also been very trustworthy, honest and clean. I have had other sewer services that I actually witness them trying to sabotage my sewer pipe so they could do a dig up, it was incredible. I think The Golden Rule charged 70 bucks for drain cleaning. They are A's across the board because I wouldn't use them if they are not A's. I would use them in future and actually refer them. I am a contractor so I am very particular about the work that gets done for me because I am really particular for my clients. They are the only ones who have ever really satisfied me all the way.

This was the first time we had to call a plumber so we didn't know what to expect. Was happy with the outcome. It took about 30 mins to fix the problem. Golden Rule has official made it into our rolodex.

Was told that they would arrive anytime before 10:00. Arrived somewhat after. Gentleman didn't seem he wanted to be there. Opened outside drain, had my wife run all the water, still wasn't enough and had her flush all the toilets. Still wasn't opening then he decided to use the cutter while all water was still running. While this is still going on my wife is running up and down the stairs trying to flush all the toilets. Was told that it was corrected and they added an extension to cutter. It's only 45 feet to the main sewer line and was quoted for 100 feet. Was charged an extra $40 dollars and all the extra water and the work out my wife received. Less than a week later, same problem.

I just bought a house and there were roots in the sewer lines. The painters also clogged a drain in the kitchen. The plumbing passed inspection because it took more than one flush to detect the problem with the toilet, and the water in the kitchen sink and utility room had to run for a while before it backed up. Always flush more than once when inspecting a house, lesson learned the hard way! I have a home owner's warranty and a plumbing company was dispatched. They came out, looked for the outside access, didn't find it, flushed the toilet a coulpe of times and told me that they would get the job done sometime "this week." They also said they would have to pull the toilet and bring the roto-rooter inside the house and it would be very messy. I couldn't move in the house until the plumbing was fixed and it was upsetting not knowing what was wrong. I thought about it and decided something didn't seem right about what I was told and I checked Angie's List. I chose Golden Rule based on how they handled other similar problems. Golden Rule listened to my problem, said they could get someone out the same day or the next morning and they did. A couple hours later, they called and were ready to fix my problem. The guys who showed up knew what they were doing and were very professional. Within 5 minutes, they had found the outside access and had the machine ready to go. They cleared the clog left by the painters in the utility sink. In less than an hour, they put my mind at ease and had the problem fixed. I will be calling them back every year to maintain the sewer tile for my house, and I can recommend them without hesitation. Thank you!

They were able to do this for us so quickly and they cleaned up so well. It was like they were never there. I really feel this outfit is one of the best in the area and I will use them for now on.
