Right now I am a one man operation. I am doing this part time until I have built my business enough to support myself doing full time. I custom build cabinets, tables, coffee tables, end tables, etc. I bill by the job and require down payments and contracts for larger jobs.

"Very well !!! Greg was very responsive. The job took longer than we had planned but that was due to a flaw in the initial roll of fabric - I was happy that Greg was honest with us about it and did the job right. The furniture looks like new and it was about half the cost of buying the same quality of furniture."

I restore radios, car radios, phonographs, stereos, consoles with record changers, sound motion-picture projectors, wire recorders, Edison phonographs, German radios, guitar amplifiers, and so forth. [I have a Ph.D. in physics so I pretty much know what I'm doing.]

"My Telefunken did not work at all. Dr. Zee restored it to it's glory days, and it's been wonderful listening to it ever since. This was a challenging repair. It has a radio, shortwave and turntable, and nothing worked. The turntable now works like new and so does my radio. I would highly recommend Dr. Zee's. He kept me in the loop as the repairs were ongoing and worked with our schedule to drop off and pick up the Telefunken. He was also so knowledgeable and easy to work with. Great job!"

Avoid using wood filler for structural repairs or areas with extensive damage. Wood filler is designed for cosmetic fixes like filling small holes, cracks, or surface imperfections, and it doesn't provide the strength needed for load-bearing repairs or large gaps. You can certainly seal butcher block countertops, but not permanently. Due to the nature of the materials, it will require resurfacing down the line. This is true no matter what you use to seal the countertop, including polyurethane and mineral oil. Polyurethane will last until the countertop is damaged in some way, and mineral oil should be reapplied every two to three months. To maximize the longevity of the polyurethane sealer, apply two coats.

Yes. A good mixture to condition your leather is made from one tablespoon of natural baby soap, a splash of vinegar, and 2 cups of warm water. Mix these ingredients in a bowl and use a microfiber cloth to rub it into the leather in small circles.
