MOODY'S HARDWOOD FLOORING INC

I contacted Moody's after my red birch wood floors had been refinished improperly by inexperienced people.  They were streaked, rough & uneven.  There were gaps between the wood where filler had pushed out.  They were a mess!  
 Scott Moody & his son resanded the floor and applied an appropriate finishing product.  This was an extremely difficult job, not only because there was a very large area of hardwood flooring, but because the floor was in such poor condition.  In addition to having been refinished poorly, the flooring had been originally laid incorrectly & while the wood was too green.
This job was quite some distance from where the Moody's Hardwood Flooring business is located.  Scott & his son stayed at a local hotel, which allowed them to finish the job in just 4 days instead of the  7-14 days I had anticipated.  They were professional and competent.  I asked many questions, which were answered patiently, knowledgeably & politely.   (Kim Moody, who answers the phone & does the scheduling for this company, was extremely helpful & friendly whenever I spoke with her.)  The procedure they used required little cleaning after completion. 
After the floors were done, they left instructions on how to care for the refinished wood & provided the tools to do so.  They also provided furniture pads.
The best thing, however, is that the floors are beautiful now.  Better even than when they first were laid!

We have been very happy with Moody's Hardwood.  They call you back immediately, are very responsive about providing you a bid and complete their work on schedule. They even adjusted their schedule so we could get our new stairway stained in a timely manner including working over the 4th of July. 
The quality of the work is outstanding. We have received several compliments regarding our new hardwood as well as the stain color which matches very well with our cabinets (thanks to Scott's advice).   We couldn't be happier with our new floors and stairway!
