I wasn't sure it could be cleaned especially back to its like new condition. I sent it UPS from the bay area to Premier Leather care. It took them a few months because they had to work and work on it but they were able to remove all stains from the jacket without damaging the color or quality of the material. "The project was smooth start to finish. The owner, Jason, provided me a quote over email within a day of sending him measurements and dimensions. They came and picked up the dressers and called me in a couple weeks once they were ready for me to pick out the stain color. They got the stain to match exactly what I had wanted. They delivered the dressers when they were finished. The dressers don't even look like the original. The original color was a yellow toned, oak color. It was worth every penny to refinish them because these were two solid, well-made pieces and I couldn't find the quality in the stores today without spending more than I did with Carmel Custom Refinishing. I would highly recommend this business. The process does take some time 4-5 weeks total for me but the process in general just takes time. It was well worth the wait which I didn't think was long at all."

"Pete arrived (he was an hour late but had called ahead to notify me that his previous job was taking longer than anticipated and he verified whether that would be OK or not.)  So, i knew he would arrive at a later time - which worked fine for me since I was already home.
He looked at the jobs to be done and felt confident that they could be completed easily in the two hours.  He went right to work. At the end of two hours, he had completed all jobs and they looked great! 

On a side note, a few months ago, our next door neighbors accidentally knocked our privacy fence down on one side of the yard and Pete took it upon himself to go over to their house and offer to fix it! They hired him on the spot!  I'm happy to say that our fence is not upright and back in place!  What an example of PROACTIVE energy!    

Candidly, these were small jobs that most handymen could tackle, but Pete went above and beyond and then told me about the other, larger jobs that they frequently do. Roofing, remodels, etc.   I am thinking seriously about having him remodel our upstairs bath!
