"According to my tenant and her feedback everything was done professionally and they showed up as scheduled. It took a little longer to get the project done and I almost canceled. When I first contacted Mr Wesley I emphasized that I needed to have the work done before Thanksgiving and he did do this. Mr Wesley takes pride in whatever he does and wanted to do a lot more work than the $300 deal I had purchased. I only wanted to use my $300 deal. He did a lot of other estimates on his own and presented me with a higher estimate a little over $3,000. We disagreed on the bathtub lever (use to turn the shower on) that I and the tenant wanted repaired. The job he wanted to do was much more like remodeling the bathtub surround area and fixtures. He did not want to the job unles he could do it his way. This resulted in him not doing this repair and me having someone else come out to do it. I respect his feelings for wanting to do a quality job. I believe Mr Wesley is more of a high quality contractor and not necessary a person for doing small everyday repairs for rentals. I do have some other work that I am considering to ask Mr Wesley to give me a bid for.

"The quality of the work was well done.  Greg and Adam are very responsive.  Adam does excellent work, and very fast once he had all the cabinets, etc.  The thing folks need to know is that it takes a very long time to get cabinets custom ordered and to get granite selected and cut.  Make sure you build this in.  Overall I think this project took too long to complete (over two months), but the overall final product was really great.

And while we loved them for their historic charm, they were in pretty terrible shape. "I hired Wood Renovation to power wash and stain my deck as well as replace some rotted boards. They did a good job replacing the boards, but they also missed a rotted board, which was not replaced. They did a good job power washing and staining the floor of the deck, but they only used one coat of solid stain on the floor, which was not enough. The Sherwin Williams stain they used even says to use two coats. The ornamental caps that sit on top of the balusters were covered with old, chipping paint, and they did not sand them prior to staining. The owner, Steve, indicated that he normally doesn't include sanding in a bid, but he did come out and try to sand off some of the chipping paint. They also used a paint sprayer for the deck railings, which did not completely cover any of the railings and instead got on my landscaping. I had to have Steve come back out two different times to touch up every railing. Fortunately, he was very nice and accommodating about it. Overall, the quality of the work was not worth $996."
