Small jobs welcome

"My review is very delayed but the work was a small area. They removed a glued laminate flooring a laid ceramic tile. It was an entryway project that did not take very long and there work was excellent."

"My husband and I recently contracted Superior Bath to renovate our master bathroom. Our bathroom was outdated and included a garden tub that we no longer used, that took up a ton of space. Superior removed our garden tub and enlarged our shower. The new shower is amazing and we love it. Superior also installed a new vanity with a countertop and 2 new sinks. They turned out very well. We love all of the work that was done and would recommend Superior to everyone."

"We love our deck extension! They were able to add on to our existing deck and took on a huge project to extend it 50ft across! Carmel had a bunch of extra requirements but eventually we got the permit with extra additions and Maynor himself did a great job handling the changes and keeping us in the loop! Not only do we love the deck, but the work is high quality and they are all very hardworking individuals! We would definitely use them again and definitely recommend them!"

"Joe assessed the state of my bathroom floor revealing two layers of adhesive tiles over one layer of original cracked tile.  He proposed solutions and allowed me to select a solution in the confines of  my budget and needs.  He retiled the floor, installed a new toilet, installed a new vanity, and helped out with other plumbing related issues while on site.  I thought the quality of Joe's work was second to none and he was extremely knowledgable about home maintenance. I will say that Joe was playing catch-up from being ill and thus it was difficult for him to follow through with his initial dates to come give estimates or complete the job by the original requested deadline.  Despite that, he and his employee, went to extra measures to meet the needs of my tenants.  I will have Joe do more work for me in the future."

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

The number of shower niches you need (or want) depends on the size of the shower and how many bathroom products you plan on storing. If you keep it simple with just soap and shampoo, the one shower niche will probably do the trick. But if you’re adding scrubs and soaks, you may need to think about installing two or more.

The number of boxes of tile you need depends entirely on the amount of tile in each box or case. Different manufacturers package their tiles differently, and boxes contain different amounts of tile depending on the size, shape, and material. Often, the amount of area that a case will cover is listed in the product description. To calculate the number of boxes you need, take the total square feet of the space and divide it by the number of square feet the box will cover.

The best types of tiles for a shower are ceramic and porcelain tiles. These materials are durable, water-resistant, and easy to maintain, making them ideal for wet environments. Porcelain tiles are slightly more durable than ceramic. Both options come in a wide variety of styles, so you can achieve the perfect look for your bathroom.

If you’re looking for a durable tile for a shower floor, consider porcelain, stone, or vinyl tiles. Each of these options, when installed correctly, will stand up well to everything from water and moisture to the impact from a dropped bottle of body wash. These materials are also easy to clean and maintain, making them popular options for shower floors.

If you hire a professional to install a new floor, you can expect to pay between $50 and $75 per hour for labor. It takes two days on average to install a new floor as part of a bathroom remodeling project, but your timeline depends on your bathroom’s size and layout.
