I called on a Friday afternoon of a holiday weekend and spoke to Josh and within minutes Logan one of the technicians called to let me know he was on his way. Unfortunately, the pump was stuck. It took quite a few attempts, days and hard work from Logan and other crew members. Finally, Brad with C & J Well called on that following Friday morning and said he was on his way and he will get the pump out. And, with the help of Rhett, they got it pulled and I had water by 3:00 p.m. that day! Thank you to all of the crew technicians for your hard work! You guys are great!"

"They did it at short notice on New Year’s Eve, Sunday night, without charging extra for emergency service. It was pricey, but I got a top of the line unit. It works great, uses less gas than my old unit, and it is supposed to last for 25 years. They also replaced my sump pump, my water level alarm, and my water shut-off valve. The owner came by a couple days later to check on everything. He upgraded the natural gas supply hose, and made a couple more improvements. This company stresses quality work and customer satisfaction."

Hoosier drain even provided us with a temporary fix by dropping a new pump on our old pump until they were able to get drillers out with no extra charge. We were given estimates day 1 and had no surprises at all on the cost. Dave and his team (Matt, Baylon, Damon and more), were very educated and made sure to explain everything clearly so we understood each step and could make educated decisions on how to proceed. They used a third party for drilling, yet still helped fill the holes the drilling truck made- again without even being asked. They also brought out tools to the drilling company to trim the trees so that we could get the new well drilled asap. Super thankful we utilized this company and would recommend them again and again! "The crews were extraordinarily polite, friendly, efficient, and very energetic. They ran into a lot of underground water when digging the trench for the buckled wall repair, but were able to put in the necessary reinforcements from inside the basement extending out to the trenched area. We live in an area with a lot of underground springs and artesian water, and when they began work the dirt under the foundation and crawl space was just wet mud, and water poured in at 36 inches deep as they created an outlet for the water to be safely drained away from the house. The basement is completely dry and we have a back up sump pump. My basement is surrounded by a crawl space since it was added after the house was built. The sump pumps and dehumidifier are warrantied for 5 years and the waterproofing has a lifetime warranty. Our house had problems because the basement was added after the house was built, but Indiana Foundation was able to make the house safe, and completely dry and usable. Since we live on a hillside, we will be adding a French drain behind the house and garage, far enough away to not further damage any of the foundations, but at the natural flow of the hillside where water collects to run down hill or underground. If we go at least 36 inches deep, it should help reduce some of the water that flows into the house area. This was some advice given by the supervisor at Indiana Foundation. They don't install French drains any longer, as they don't carry away all water and don't carry a guarantee, but in our situation it will probably help and is something I will be contracting out in the near future. The French drain is similar to what farmers install in fields to drain away excess water to a creek or deep ditch. It isn't something we have to do, but it will put a lot less strain on the sump pumps and other equipment, and in case of a long term power outage, would likely save our other appliances too (furnace, water heater, walls, etc.). I love the battery back up pump and it has already been in use twice when we had two separate power outages from storms. The workmen from Indiana Foundation were delightful to have in my home, running in and out with loads of materials, cheerfully hammering the walls and floors to install their system. Second: My electrician was able to repair a line running to our garage after the water problem was resolved. Water poured in over the connections in the basement without our realizing it, and no electricity was live in the back room of the garage. New basement, New Electric, New Plumbing - we are very happy with the results!"
