"100% would recommend Mica from Plunkett’s to deal with your cockroach issues. We had roaches off and on for many months, despite a good cleaning regime etc., and eventually realized other units in our shared building had the same issues. Mica quickly and precisely diagnosed the source of the issue, was real with us about time and possible costs, worked with us in coordinating multiple units, patiently answered all questions, and in the end helped my neighbors and I deal with this extremely persistent issue in a relatively short time frame. He approached treatment with a lot of care and thought, in particular listening and adjusting for our concerns re: safety of our young toddler. This was a big one for us! Plunkett’s was a bit more expensive than some other pest control companies we looked at, but neighbors had already tried multiple other services and it never got rid of the issue. In the end, it was probably cheaper than multiple ineffective treatments, but more importantly we haven’t seen a roach in several months."

"We signed up for TruGreen in the Cincinnati area to come service our lawn and spray for mosquitos. They had a tech come 3 times and lie about servicing our lawn. My wife caught them through the window pulling up to the house, walking to the front yard to put a sign up, and then again to the back before just getting back in the car and leaving and marking us as “completed service”. This caused us to look back at the other two services and sure enough, same thing. They were charging us hundreds of dollars to put a sign in our front yard. Naturally, I called to speak to a manager to cancel service and he convinced us to stay under the promise that they would redo the services free of charge, and even threw in a few extras to keep us as customers. The very next time they serviced us, they double charged us. I called them to discuss the double charge and remind them of the deal we had made, and they said “No such deal was ever made” and then refused to give us our money back. This company stole from us in every sense of the word, and have been very untrustworthy every step of the way. I have never witnessed anything more unethical and slimy in my entire life. Save yourself a headache and save your cash, and look somewhere else."
