"I contacted Service Plus/Hope Plumbing on a Friday around 4 p.m. after the gas company shut off service due to a leak, leaving my tenant without heat. They charged a $675 diagnostic fee (which they later offered to remove) and quoted $2,130 for repairs, promising the total would be no more than that. After more than eight hours on-site, they said all leaks were fixed and the line was holding pressure. An hour later, the gas company retested the line and it failed. Despite repeated calls, no one returned until Monday at 11 a.m., nearly 40 hours later. The new technician said the home needed a full re-pipe for an additional $1,500 and told us the account would go to collections if we didn?t pay for the failed repair. He also asked my tenant if she wanted the gas turned back on despite an active leak. I hired Absolute Comfort, who found and fixed the real issue in under 30 minutes for $650. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend them."

The project started late, forcing me to use an extra day of vacation time. The quote of $559 for supplies explicitly listed "Hardie Backer Board" and "flashing tape." The team installed drywall and did not use the tape. They also used the caulk/adhesive I provided, despite those items being included in the materials charge. The subsequent $100 deduction was insufficient. The completed shower pan creaked loudly. The fix?drilling holes and injecting foam?resolved the noise but left the pan slightly unlevel. Debris was often left on the premises overnight (e.g., the old tub in the front yard; trash pile in the driveway). The shelf that should have been installed was in the pile. Crew members were hardworking, however, issues regarding communication, billing transparency, and quality control impacted the experience. "
