If I could give a rating below zero I would. Limpus Cabinets installation of the rustic alder Shiloh Cabinets manufactured by W.W. Wood Products was poor. None of the cabinet doors were adjusted so they would close properly. Limpus Cabinets handed me the instructions on how to adjust the cabinet doors and told me it was my responsibility to adjust the cabinet doors. I had to hire Spiceland Wood Products to come and adjust the cabinet doors which took about 4 hours and cost $225. The crown molding over on of the cabinets was cut in 2 pieces and looked terrible. I ended up having to pay Limpus Cabinet $379.85 to fix the crown molding. Also, the end piece on the island was not attached properly and Spiceland Wood Products had to fix this issue. Josh Limpus said that Shiloh Cabinets did not have stain to fix scratches which turned out to not be true. I tried to get these issues resolved with Josh Limpus. Josh has ignored me for the entire time. I contacted Pam Rybilt with W.W. Wood Products and she said she would be in Indianapolis on Wednesday April 20, 2022 to help me adjust the cabinet doors. Pam never showed up and she stopped responding to my calls and texts. After Pam stopped responding to my texts and phone calls I contacted W.W. Wood Products and they were unwilling to do anything for me to resolve these issues. W.W. Wood Products stated they are just the cabinet manufacture, this was a Limpus Cabinet. The quality of the cabinets are so poor that I am considering removing all of the kitchen cabinets and having them replaced.

Limpus was excellent to work with. They have many years of experience. I visited the showroom and decided on my cabinets during the first visit. On the second visit, I chose Cambria quartz countertops. The installers came on time and I had my old cabinets emptied out and the hardware off when they came. They were efficient and quick and very careful with appliances that were in the kitchen. They finished in less than eight hours. I could not have been more pleased. Cambria quartz representative came the next business day and took laser measurements. I was without the kitchen sink and water in the kitchen until the countertops were installed. They returned in 3 weeks and installed the countertops with a sink already attached to the countertops. They did an excellent installation. Warren Flooring Corp. did the tile backsplash. Tile was purchased at The Tile Shop. The entire process could not have been better. I highly recommend Limpus Cabinet Sales Co. if you are in need of a kitchen update. I am so pleased with how everything turned out in my kitchen. My kitchen cabinets were 17 years old. The results speak for themselves. The cabinets were approximately $7,500 and the quartz countertops and sink cost approximately $5,000.

The entire process was very well done. The sales team was informative, helpful, and quick to respond to questions and changes. The guys who installed the new cabinets were fantastic. Very professional, kind, and did great work keeping us informed along the way. We were very impressed with Limpus and certainly would use them again.

It went very well - Limpus worked with us to implement what we wanted, even as we were trying to figure it out.  The cabinets were delivered when promised (even early), and the Limpus crew completed the installation in one day.  The entire process, including preparation, laying a new floor, plumbing and electrical work, took about two weeks.  They worked closely with Andy O'Brien (O'Brien Remodeling) who did the necessary demolition and construction.  Everything was perfectly coordinated and was completely satisfactory.  I cannot recommend Andy O'Brien strongly enough.  The $14,000 figure was for both providers.

First, I'd like to say that this review is way overdue.  But I have to say the great experience we had with Limpus Cabinets still remains fresh.
After shopping at different cabinet companies and big box retailers, I stumbled into Limpus Cabinets and I'm very glad I did. By stumbled, I mean I had no prior knowledge or recommendations about the company.  I learned Limpus is a multi-generational family business that completely understands customer service.  Their direction was clearly focused on what was best for us, not what was best for their profit margin. Not only did we find exactly what we wanted, but the price was more than reasonable.
During the measuring process, we received great recommendations to best utilize the space.  We knocked a huge hole into the dining room to open up the kitchen and provide bar seating which meant we lost a lot of wall space for cabinets.  Their suggestions were extremely helpful to get the most out of the remaining wall space.
Our house is 150 years old, and we expected a few surprised... and we got them.  Long after we ordered our cabinets and after demolition, we learned that the stove was dead-center in front of a giant wooden beam which meant we could not vent our range hood at a direct 90 degrees. We had to somehow go around the beam.  The solution was a custom cabinet at the ceiling that would allow the vent to go around the beam.  And by the time we figured it out, we needed it fast.  Josh was able to help us and we quickly received the cabinet.  Also during the remodel, we found a large hidden area above our refrigerator that was wasted space. We decided to add a cabinet above the fridge and once again, Josh came through with custom cabinet doors in a hurry.  We now have a great place to store large packages of paper towels, etc., and it looks great.
The result of their work is a gorgeous, functional new kitchen with absolutely beautiful cabinets.  Limpus Cabinet prices compete or beat big box retailers, but the true measure of their worth is their outstanding customer service.  They did backflips to get us what we needed when we needed it.  I'd recommend Limpus to anyone looking for kitchen cabinets regardless of their budget.

Sales and service was our first step. Limpus was highly recommended by a friend and we are sure glad that we followed the recommendation. We were so undecided on many things and Denny helped us every step of the way. When we were looking for Granite, they suggested several places and we went to them all. We finally made our choices.
Step two was coming to measure. One of the owners came out personally to measure our kitchen. What an awesome personal and business touch. They did not sell us, they took the time to make sure we had everything we wanted.
We were not ready for installation when the cabinets arrived. Again no pressure. They waited until we were completely ready and scheduled an installation date. Marshall and the crew were prompt, courteous, professional and it was a pleasure spending the day with them as they worked diligently and very hard. They made sure there were no flaws and asked us for our input on a variety of things. This was such a pleasurable experience.
Our kitchen is gorgeous and now we can't wait for the granite to be installed. Limpus is the best. We had used a competitor for our basement and we wish we had known about Limpus because they sure would have gotten our business.
We highly recommend Limpus Cabinets for all and any of your needs. We will be using them again for our bathrooms.
Thanks guys & gals at Limpus, you are simply the best!!

Starting from the first day we visited Limpus Cabinets, it was clear that this family business has its act together and knows how to deal with customers. We were interested in replacing builder grade cabinets and laminate countertops with new materials and granite. Josh showed us some examples and gave us the pricing of the cabinet brand that they sold.  We had done earlier shopping of other cabinet sales companies in the Indianapolis area and were always given the top of the line materials and options at the top of the line cost. Josh did not pull the same sales technique but started us out with a moderately priced cabinet line.  This was quite refreshing.  As it turns out we went with a higher level of cabinet, however we were not pushed into a purchase that we did not want.  Josh also set up the granite selection, ordered a sink and coordinated the entire process.  The measuring steps went on without a hitch.  Many other members of Limpus Cabinets came to remove the old cabinets, countertops and island along with installing the new cabinets. They had everything taken care of very quickly, were very conscientious, tidy and were some of the best workmen that we have ever dealt with. Everyone we interacted with at Limpus was extremely professional and personable. If you are considering new cabinets, please consider this company for as painless a process as possible.

so happy with limpus, from the day i stopped in to talk to them to when the job was completed. they helped through the whole process of picking out counter top, what edges, color etc. someone came to measure exactly at the time they said they would be there. they were honest with me when they told me i would have to wait a while because they were so busy. they gave me a date & on that date the crew was here on time they all did a total professional job. all 4 men on the crew were so experienced i had no worries & new counter top, range & sink look beautiful. i highly recommend limpus!!

Limpus was the 3rd or 4th company we went to when starting our kitchen remodel.  We knew when we left their showroom after our first visit that Limpus was definitely the company for us!   They reviewed all of our options to consider and we chose the Sequoia Sedona cabinets with a black laminate countertop.  They were very patient with me as we reviewed the plans a few times before proceeding.  They installed the cabinets and counter in a day and it was flawless. David, Josh, and Denny are the best guys to work with!  I could not be happier with the results.  Fabulous, just fabulous!

Went to Limpus looking for what I had hoped would be a small kitchen remodel.  However, not being skilled in the area of home remodeling, there were some potential challenges I hadn't considered.  Dave Limpus explained they could certainly do the job I was asking, but he wanted me to understand the challenges at hand.  He offered that they could do a totally new kitchen for a slightly higher price.
After seeing the quotes comparing our baseline project to the proposed entirely new kitchen, we were stunned how inexpensive a full remodel would be.  The combination of the low price, the friendly nature of the Limpus family, prior Angie's list reviews, and the quality / features they were offering - and we were hooked at that point, and we just needed to finalize our decisions as to exactly what we wanted.
After several trips to their showroom to consider multiple different possibilities and inviting them to our home for measurements, we decided upon a full remodel with Shiloh brand cherry and maple beaded inset cabinets.  A different project than we were originally considering as we upgraded the original plans considerably, but it was well worth the money as it substantially upgraded the kitchen and changed the feel of our home.
Installation was also great as a crew of professionals did the entire tear-out and install in one day.
We couldn't be happier.  Several friends and family members have asked who did the kitchen work, and I happily recommended Dave and Josh Limpus to each of them.

I had been to several places prior to visiting Limpus. They worked with me for quite some time to make sure that I got exactly what I wanted for my bathroom. I was impressed that they spent so much time with me, even though I was only purchasing a small bit of product rather than redoing my entire kitchen. I also thought that the product, a Bertch product, was very high quality. I would highly recommend them for any type of cabinetry.

We renovated our kitchen this year, and I shopped around various elements to get the best value for my dollar.
I had two other area companies come out and give me estimates for cabinets, but their prices were high and I wasn't particularly impressed with their proposals. One company said I'd be without a fully-functional kitchen for up to 4 weeks...what? Why??). I also compared prices at the big-box stores and even online cabinet retailers.
I found a solid surface countertop fabricator in the metro (Premier Surfaces) and was impressed with them, so I asked if they knew of any good sources for cabinets. They referred me to Limpus, and after seeing many positive reviews on Angie's List, we decided to make the drive to the other side of town to their showroom.
We were impressed with the type of cabinets they offered, the price, and the no-pressure/no-nonsense sales team. We had a representative from Limpus come out to take exact measurements, and we went back to the showroom to place our order. I had draft and final renderings sent to me via email as well.
The crew of 5 guys showed up at my house a little before 9 a.m., removed my old counters and cabinets, disconnected the microwave/dishwasher, installed my new cabinets and reconnected the microwave and dishwasher (minus the plumbing). They also connected the under-mount light fixtures to the existing wiring. They were done with everything by 3 p.m. the same day.
If I bought laminate counter tops, they could have installed them today as well. Since we're getting solid surface, there is a week delay for the template and fabrication. Once the counters are in, Limpus will send a plumber to connect the faucet, disposal and dishwasher later that day.
Josh, the guy who processed my order in the showroom and designed our cabinet selections to fit the space, was a member of the installation crew. Actually, I saw and spoke with several members of the crew in the showroom as well.
Rather than subcontract out the labor, they do it themselves. They truly understand their product and stand behind it. How many companies do it this way? I love it.
My cost of materials was $5,689, which included two cabinets with glass fronts (and an interior stain to match the exterior for that cabinet). These are maple cabinets with crown molding on top and an extra trim piece on the bottom to help hide our under-mount light fixtures. Some cabinets are 36" tall and I have a few 42" tall cabinets as well.
The price also included cabinet hardware. My labor charges were $1584, and this includes plumbing work.
I was impressed with Limpus from the initial contact to the installation. They're professional and just plain nice people. No pressure, no games. Just an honest, hard-working family company.
The price of materials was very reasonable. It would have been more expensive at other area companies and big-box stores. The labor charges were quite fair.
Beyond price and quality, I totally appreciate how the demo and installation took place in one day.
I'd absolutely recommend Limpus for any project. I'm trying to think of any constructive criticism I could offer -- and I've got nothing here. Well done!

Selected three cabinet companies from Angies list.  They all provided free estimates.  Two of them suggested re-facing whereas Limpus offered new cabinets.  The qoutes were all in the same range.  Limpus doesn't do granite countertops so they sub-contracted this work to Cornerstone in Greenfield after they sent out requests for bids.  Limpus is a family run business with father and son.  They are honest and straight forward, they didn't try to sugar coat anything.   The estimate was actually a little higher than the final cost.  They also had a carpenter/handy man remove and re-install the appliances and do the backsplash with tile that we purchased.  His name is Andy O'Brien.  He didn't act as a sub-contractor, he invoiced us directly.  The entire process went without any problems and the cabinets, countertops and backsplash look great.
