Four generations of our family have been involved in our storm shelter business. From start to finish—the design, the fabrication, the warranty work, installation and sales. We have installed tornado shelters in the following states: Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Iowa, Illinois, North Carolina, Kentucky, Indiana, South Carolina and Virginia. Additional phones numbers - (405) 880-1351, (580) 336-1351. Additional DBA - Ground Zero Shelters, Co. Additional fax - (580) 336-1356.

"Perfect. I enjoyed getting to sit in the storm shelters at their showroom to help with size selection. After signing up for the install, they connect you to an online portal to manage the contract and to update building permit number, etc. Installation was prompt and clean."

"Do not buy their discount flooring. They will lie and false advertise saying it's all in color and when it arrives you will get two different colors. Then they will tell you there's nothing they can do for you because it was sold as a lot as is, even though they misadvertised and put two different colors in the palette when it was all supposed to be one color. Also their delivery truck couldn't make it to my house and I had to go unload it in the heat into my car and put weight in my car. My car could not handle. They also said this was not their problem because they use a third-party company. So I have a whole bunch of flooring that will go in the trash wasted $776 because I do not have all of one color as advertised and the company is refusing to do anything about it saying it was sold as it's sold as is and false advertising? Do not waste your money. Go to a real flooring store or to Lowe's home Depot or Menards. You will have better luck of getting all in color and the correct flooring and not have false advertising cuz you'll actually be able to see it in person"

We are a locally and family owned retail flooring store. Our company has been selling flooring since 1921 and is currently in its fourth generation of family ownership.

Family owned and operated. In 1969, Jerry started working in the construction industry on the southside of Indianapolis. In 1971 he became a licensed contractor in Indianapolis. Since that time he has earned the trust of his customers and depends on them and their referrals to stay in business. He has always believed in treating people the way he wants to be treated. So far that has worked well. We have a large customer base that is continuously growing.

"Moore Construction Services transformed my screened-in patio into a stunning 4-season room, and I couldn’t be happier! The entire process was seamless, with superb crew coordination and exceptional attention to detail. They completely finished the space inside and out, creating a beautiful, functional room that we now enjoy year-round. The team was professional, efficient, and delivered top-notch craftsmanship. I highly recommend Moore Construction Services for their outstanding work and dedication to excellence! "

Hurricane Shutters questions, answered by experts

Hurricane shutters can add value to your home by protecting windows from flying debris during a storm and possibly reducing your home insurance premiums, likely appealing to potential home buyers. The material also plays a role in the value of the hurricane shutters. For example, plywood hurricane shutters are a more temporary solution that likely will not impact home insurance costs even if it can save your windows and doors from damage.

There are many ways to mitigate wind damage. Some of the most common methods include installing storm windows and doors and wind-rated garage doors. When you get a wind mitigation inspection, the inspector will also assess the condition and shape of your roof to see how well it will withstand strong winds.

During hurricanes or other major storms, high winds can cause objects and debris to fly through the air, which can break your windows. Depending on how strong the storm is, the winds themselves may be strong enough to break your windows, too. Investing in storm windows or hurricane shutters can help protect you against potential window breakage.

Yes, most services include resealing and weatherproofing to improve durability. Confirm with your contractor.

The type of hurricane shutters you install will play a large role in the overall cost of the project. Some of the most common types of hurricane shutters include:

  • Accordion hurricane shutters: $15–$30 per square foot plus labor

  • Roll-down hurricane shutters: $25–$60 per square foot plus labor

  • Bahama shutters: $25–$35 per square foot plus labor

  • Colonial shutters: $25–$35 per square foot plus labor

  • Plywood: $2–$6 per square foot plus labor

  • Storm panels: $10–$20 per square foot plus labor

  • Fabric storm shutters: $5–$15 per square foot plus labor
