"Mitchell Ceramic Tile & Marble did a beautiful job of laying porcelain tile over a concrete pad on our screen porch. They carefully prepped the area, meticulously laid the tiles, and did not rush the process. I highly recommend this company to anyone who wants quality work at a very reasonable price."

"They were able to come within a week and cleaned all bedroom carpets, hall and stairs. Maybe a little on the high side for price but they did a nice job. Carpets were wet / damp for about a day"

"Voda did a wonderful job cleaning and reviving my sectional and were able to treat it to keep it clean longer between deep cleanings. So thankful, as my family spends a lot of time on this sectional watching movies together. Now we don't have to worry as much about dropping a slice of pizza on the couch."

"Armando was “outstanding”. He was very personable/communicated all facets of the job. He was always on time/cleaned up any mess and the final tile installation project exceeded our expectations. Friends and family are in awe of the results. His price was more than fair and again - I can’t say enough about his professionalism!!!"

"Gentleman who serviced my marble bathroom floor after I accidentally etched it with a grout cleaner was very professional. He actually charged me less than was quoted because the area was less time consuming to treat than expected. They saved my floor."

"Tracy and his crew were excellent to work with.  They were very accommodating to our ever changing schedule and very creative in dealing with some really tricky areas we have.  These guys actually fix a lot of what other installers mess up so they really know what they are doing.  The crew had the old carpet and pad up and had everything cleaned up before the new pad and carpet installed.  Tracy and his crew are all very friendly, professional, and highly skilled.  I won't use anyone else for any future installation and I'd recommend them to everyone!

"It went great! Joe, the owner, was very responsive to what I needed done and when I needed it done. He was very helpful with suggestions about tile choice. His installer, Steve, did a fantastic job. He was very good at explaining things, and getting the tile installed perfectly. They were very pleasant and respectful of my home. The price charged was very fair and the work completed was done quickly and the tile looks great! Would definitely hire TilePro again!"

"Tina Hawk came out for the estimate. They charge for labor and the customer buys the supplies. Tina drove us to the tile store and we selected and purchased our tile. Tony Hawk installed the tile. He had to remove the old first. Our entry way is roughly 4 feet by 15 feet. Tina suggested we rim the tile for a finished look. That was a good idea because the new tile was just a hair higher than the old. The rim gives it a nice finish. Tony used matching caulk to finish the edge and you can barely tell it wasn't the original flooring.

"It went great from the minute we started working with them. Paula provided advice, sent us to the warehouses to pick out options, and discussed options. We opted for one of the higher priced granites and Paula worked out a plan to optimize the use of the granite. Work was done well, on time, crew was great. I get compliments whenever we have guests or other contractors in. I'm writing another review because we just used them again."

Grout Tile Cleaners questions, answered by experts

Now that you know the true pleasure of a squeaky-clean floor, you’re probably wondering how to keep floors clean between mop days. Here are the best tips to keep your floor looking spotless:

  • Give floors a quick daily swipe with a microfiber mop.

  • Keep a spray bottle of your cleaning solution on hand to use as needed.

  • Sweep daily and vacuum once or twice a week.

  • Clean up spills and messes as soon as they happen.

  • Place a doormat at each entrance to your home to reduce mud tracking.

  • Consider enforcing a “no shoes inside” policy.

  • Wash your pet’s paws before letting them back inside.

In order to grout the tiles, the grout is spread across the entire surface and then wiped off. It is possible to prevent grout haze to a certain extent by thoroughly wiping the excess grout off of the tiles during installation. Often, professional tile installers can avoid grout haze during the grout process.

To clean grout, you must know what your tile can handle. Ceramic and porcelain grout do well with acidic cleaners or a baking soda paste made with warm water, but stone floors require less aggressive cleaners meant for stone surfaces.

To clean the grout, apply the cleaner to a toothbrush, scrub the grout, and then wipe the entire area clean with a damp towel.

The most sanitary way to mop a floor is with a microfiber mop and two buckets of water: one with cleaning solution and one without. Use the soapy water to mop the floor and rinse the mop in the clean water. When the water gets dirty, pour it out and replace it with new water. This mopping technique ensures the mop stays cleaner and prevents the spread of dirt and bacteria.

Most grout sealers last one to two years before they need reapplication. For wet areas such as a bathroom or shower, you should reapply grout sealer at least once a year. In areas of your home that don't see as much moisture or traffic, the grout can go up to two years before it needs resealing.
