"Louis Mitchell was a delight to work with. He went out of his way to complete our grout work as soon as he could. The work was done very well. Louis is a kind, considerate man of high character. I highly recommend him for any ceramic tile or shower construction."

"Voda did a wonderful job cleaning and reviving my sectional and were able to treat it to keep it clean longer between deep cleanings. So thankful, as my family spends a lot of time on this sectional watching movies together. Now we don't have to worry as much about dropping a slice of pizza on the couch."

"Armando and Santos did an amazing job! They were professional, friendly, and trustworthy. We are very happy with the way our kitchen backsplash turned out and would hire them again in the future."

"Mike and Alex cleaned and sealed my granite countertops, cleaned and colored sealed two bathrooms including a large tile shower and tub, and cleaned and changed the grout color in our kitchen and hallway along with our tile backsplash. A large job to say the least. Over the two days the gentleman worked diligently and we’re very pleasant. I love their attention to detail and worked patiently with me in selecting a new complementary grout color for my existing floor. It truly looks Brand new and the transformation was at a fraction of the price of new flooring. Mike is fair in his pricing and it’s very honest. I look forward to working with him in the future."

"The team of 4 guys came and stretched out the wrinkles in the carpet of our new home. The job also entailed re-seaming the carpet at two doorways.  In order to complete the job, they had to move heavy furniture out of the bedroom, and after the job was done, they vacuumed the carpet thoroughly.
There were initial problems with the scheduling, but after the job was done, I was quite pleased.  Initially, I called and spoke with Tracy.  He quoted a price and was happy to schedule a time the following day to do the job. I was told they'd be there between 4-6 PM. When no one had shown up by 7PM, I called their number to ask for the appt to be rescheduled.  I got a phone call from Tracy the following day, and he was extremely apologetic.  He had misspelled my street name, so he couldn't find our address in his GPS.  He also had not written down my phone number, so couldn't call back.  He did come out the following afternoon.  He gave us an additional discount because of the mix-up.
My biggest complaint is that the work crew all smelled of cigarette smoke, and an hour after they've left, I've been forced to spray room freshener to hide the residual smoky smell.

"Tina Hawk came out for the estimate. They charge for labor and the customer buys the supplies. Tina drove us to the tile store and we selected and purchased our tile. Tony Hawk installed the tile. He had to remove the old first. Our entry way is roughly 4 feet by 15 feet. Tina suggested we rim the tile for a finished look. That was a good idea because the new tile was just a hair higher than the old. The rim gives it a nice finish. Tony used matching caulk to finish the edge and you can barely tell it wasn't the original flooring.

"Swimmingly—professional and thorough. Went the extra mile and even dealt with an unexpected problem. I feel bad because they did it at no additional cost but thought it was awesome they finished quickly—within the day—and performed beautiful work. We had selected and ordered the initial accent tiles for the job, but he consulted about best options for colors and sizes, gave us the name of a great tile store, and kept in touch which helped us—honestly, that was the best part. Both of us are working from home (which means we are both kind of constantly and unintentionally in some way partially working, ha!), so the follow up was genuinely stand out—in the home improvement industry, it is easy to find someone who does excellent work but misses an appointment. Clearly, that is not this business. They were prompt, follow-up AND actual tiling was indeed Top Notch. Included our fireplace—maybe not everyone’s style, but exactly what we wanted and frankly, better than what we imagined. 10/10, would undoubtedly hire again. Cost total reported included the materials."

Grout Tile Cleaners questions, answered by experts

Caulk and grout are two different materials with different purposes and should not be used interchangeably. Grout is used to fill the gaps between tiles; it hardens to keep them sturdy and in place on walls or floors. Caulk, on the other hand, is a flexible, waterproof material used to seal corners, cracks, and edges, such as where a tub meets tile or around windows for weatherproofing. Caulk can also be used to temporarily repair damaged grout.

Cleaning floors is a relatively easy DIY job, but paying for a professional cleaning service is worthwhile if you don’t have the time to dedicate to cleaning or if you have particularly dirty floors, deep-set stains, or wooden floors that you might damage during the cleaning process. A professional house cleaner will have the tools and experience necessary to remove dirt, pet hair, debris, and even stains and discoloration from your floors without damaging them. The service is also relatively affordable, making it a great investment if you don’t have the time or tools to do it yourself.

Discoloration, cracking, or water absorption marks are key indicators that grout needs attention.

In order to grout the tiles, the grout is spread across the entire surface and then wiped off. It is possible to prevent grout haze to a certain extent by thoroughly wiping the excess grout off of the tiles during installation. Often, professional tile installers can avoid grout haze during the grout process.

Clean with mild detergents, reseal grout as needed, and avoid dropping heavy objects on tiles.
