While some pets, especially dogs, may chase rabbits away due to their natural hunting instincts, relying solely on pets to deter rabbits is not foolproof. A temperature of 131 degrees Fahrenheit for 72 minutes will kill bed bugs. Research suggests several different ranges, but many suggest starting at 120 degrees Fahrenheit and maintaining that heat for at least two hours. Steam cleaning is an exception because steam comes so hot it can quickly kill bed bugs and their eggs, making it a good option for fast extermination.
The simple answer is that food attracts moles to your yard. These creatures have a powerful sense of smell, and they’re looking for their next meal, i.e., grubs, earthworms, ants, and other insects. Moist, loose soil also makes it easier for them to travel, so an overwatered lawn could attract them. Male moles might make their way into your yard to expand their territory or look for a new mate. And if your neighbor has moles, there’s a good chance they may tunnel over to your yard.
Some species of bees (not to mention hornets) are aggressive and dangerous to have in your walls. If they swarm in anger or defense, they could badly hurt people in your home. Other species of bees are largely harmless and many people live in close proximity to them.
Either way, bees making hives in your walls usually causes damage. It can contribute to moisture problems, and attract other pests. Those problems get even worse if honeycombs build up. So we strongly suggest you find a way to keep bees from taking up permanent residence.
