"Aztez representative and workers were prompt and courteous. Overall the job turned out OK and looks nice. The James Hardie stucco sheets and trim were installed in a manner that is much better and should be more weather resistant than original stucco sheets. All trim pieces, including angle cuts, were cut by hand with a circular saw but look very good. Notes from the job that lead to my overall rating. 1) Aztec representative and workers communicated very well with me to discuss and decide on options for specific details to ensure the overall look and appearance was maintained. 2) Instead of removing the old siding, I was talked into installing the new sheets over the existing sheets. Because of this, I asked repeatedly to be informed of any damage or deterioration due to water intrusion (old siding had rotted in several locations) and to remove/repair any damage prior to installing the new sheets and trim. To my knowledge, this did not happen because I caught working covering up one location that needed repair. I was disappointed this was not brought to my attention. Were there other areas of damage that were covered up and not repaired? I'll never know. 3) Job was quoted with 2 coats of paint. Paint was sprayed and completed in 1 day. I asked how it was possible to apply 2 coats of paint in one day without letting the 1st coat dry. I was told, 2 passes with the sprayer was the equivalent of 2 coats of paint. I was not aware of this practice and not sure this really constitutes the equivalent of 2 coats of paint. While I noted that I would hire again, this would only be with closer oversight. The latter 2 issues left me with the opinion that the priority of the workers was to get the job done as quickly as possible with less emphasis on quality of work. While I have given a passing grade, there is opportunity for improvement."

"This was siding replacement for the second level of a 2 story house (first level is brick). UHQ was selected because of the positive reviews and the cost was less than other quotes. Though it seemed like a lot of money, seeing how much labor is involved in siding replacement, I now feel like we got a great deal. The Fiber-cement was replacing original wood siding. There was about a 2 month gap between agreeing on the work and the work beginning, due to scheduling and it being over the winter. We received regular updates on the materials being ordered while we were waiting for the start date. Once the work started, we received regular contact from the company, to assure the work was going as expected. The gentlemen who did the work were fantastic. Most of them only spoke Spanish, but we were able to figure out communication. I was truly amazed as how hard those men worked, and how late in to the evening they went. Their work ethic is something to be admired. The work took about 2 weeks, with some work being done on the weekends. Considering the amount of work that was done, this was very reasonable. In the end, the house looks much better, with every gap caulked. This is a company that is seems to be working to build a reputation by giving the customers a quality, properly installed product for a fair price."

They cleaned up after they were done and we've had tons of compliments about the new look of our house. Had one issue to fix and they came back and addressed as promised. Both jobs were first rate and we couldn't have been happier with the service and the workmanship. I highly recommend them exterior house work."

The only complaints I would have is they didn't order a large enough dumpster, they needed to bring an additional trailer to haul all the old siding, gutters away and the dumpster and trailer were left in our drive way for weeks. I called house mechanic and he was honest and said it would be 2 weeks before he would get to it. 2 weeks later he called and said he had looked at the house one morning and could do the job the following week. one day I came home and the siding was back up and looked great. its still up and sturdier than before.
