"Tom, as we discussed over the phone we would like to get this resolved and we would ask that you reach out to Cory directly if you want to resolve the matter. We explained that you have an 18 year old vinyl window that is brittle, faces the high sun exposure side of your house and is the original builder grade window from when the house was built. The window had a staple next to it and there was nothing we could do to prevent the damage as we discussed. Anyone removing that trim would have and the same thing happen to them. We also recommend that the window be replaced due to age and that it is outside of it manufactures warranty. Although we understand that is not a resolution you are happy with or wanted to hear, we are a local small business and we have to do what is fair for both sides. Again, please reach out to Cory if you would like to resolve this issue."
"UHQ Construction is always committed to customer satisfaction. A fair amount of the review from Melanie A. in Fishers is not accurate to what UHQ Construction experienced. At the end of the job UHQ was paid and the James Hardie Rep inspected the house and expressed to the homeowner how great he thought the house looked and thought everything looked to be installed correctly. Cory is the Operations Manager for UHQ Construction, not a Salesman. Cory works closely on all projects to make sure the homeowner gets what they wanted. If you read past reviews you can see that Cory has provided outstanding service to all customers he comes in contact with, this is the first customer UHQ is aware that Cory has been unable to satisfy. There was a delay in getting the materials and when it was discovered that the supply house had made a mistake, the supply house called the homeowner to apologize. After that the homeowner informed UHQ Construction that there was nothing they could do to earn her trust back, at this point no work had started to the homeowners home. Cory was on the jobsite daily and in constant communication with the crew, the homeowner was asked to stop asking the crew directly to do things but she refused. The homeowner was unreasonable, rude, cursed and yelled at the employees of UHQ Construction, at one point she yelled at Cory and slammed the front door in his face when he was trying to help resolve concerns. At another point the homeowner asked Cory for a discount because the homeowner preferred people of the same gender. When Cory would meet with the homeowner over any and all concerns she was unreasonable, had a lack of understanding for the process and tried to take over the project management of the job. The home was 2 times the average size and Cory told the homeowner that it takes 1-2 weeks for the average home but since her home is twice as big it would take twice as long. Cory was the first person to notice the wrong house wrap was onsite at 7:30am on day 2 and had the correct Hardie house wrap on site at 8:30am and was the one who pointed out the mistake to the homeowner. At that point he explained that the supply house had sent out the wrong house wrap and Cory had already gotten the correct wrap. We needed to wrap the entire house to make it water tight before we would be able to replace the large amounts of rotten wood on this house. Cory explained to the homeowner that replacing rotten would can add additional time to the completion of the job. The homeowner expressed she wanted the rotten wood to be replace faster but was not understanding of the process even after Cory met onsite with the homeowner to explain what was happening. UHQ Construction ran a nail magnet at the end of each day and tried to keep the jobsite clean. Cory went to the jobsite at 7-9pm multiple times to make sure all debris was in the dump trailer and a nail magnet was run. There was damage to an AC line and UHQ Construction paid for all damage related to"
