"One of the things I really liked about them was that about a year ago I wanted to put a filter in for my icemaker.  They were able to advise me about the expense beforehand to make sure I wanted to do it. They were able to keep my best interests in mind.  They came out and worked quickly and cleaned up well after they were done. The price was fair and they treated me with respect and did not try to sell me something that I didn't need."

"Arrived a little late but not a problem and we know each job can be unpredictable in terms of time, especially since they came same day we called! Pumped out and gave advice on how to keep system in good shape to minimize need for future pumping. I am not rating price because I don't know if this is especially high or low but it was sure worth it to have everything draining well again. Thanks."

"Wonderful. Great windows They look fantastic. They operate so much easier than our old wooden ones. The crew installing them did a great job. They cleaned everything up and took exceptional care to keep everything protected. I would highly recommend this company, the windows, and the installation crew. Thanks."

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Professional plumbers use many high-grade chemicals to unclog drains. Many use hydrochloric acid, known as muriatic acid, when it comes to extreme blockages.

Clearing typically takes 1-2 hours, depending on the blockage size and location.

Coke and other sodas do clean a clogged drain, so this is one of those urban myths that has some truth behind it. Coke and similar sodas are caustic and will provide some cleaning power to your drains. However, the power of soda pales in comparison to dedicated cleaners or even baking soda.

That pungent rotten egg smell coming from your drain is likely the buildup of biofilm—hair, skin, and soap scum that turns into a black sticky mess. In this case, pouring down near-boiling water, baking soda, and white vinegar will remove the smell. Keep in mind that a rotten egg smell is occasionally a sign of larger sewage line clogs and other related issues.

Knowing the signs can alert you to a clogged drain line. Clogs cause slow drainage or cause no drainage (if there’s a complete blockage). You may also notice foul odors, gurgling noises, water backing up in other appliances on the same line, or a poorly flushing toilet. If you experience any of these issues and think your line might be clogged, call a plumber.
