"I had Astera come out to diagnose what was wrong with my washing machine. They made it very clear that there would be a diagnostic fee, which I was completely OK with. My issue was that Vlad, the tech they sent, was at my residence for less than 5 minutes. He accurately diagnosed that my washing machine was semi-broken (which I knew), and told me specifically that the rear bearing was broken and the outer tube and rear inner bearing need to be replaced. He recommended that I just buy a new machine. I wasn't quoted repair costs, or given an estimate of repairs, just told it was broken, and to go buy a new one... I understand that may be the professional opinion, but it's not professional to spend less than 5 minutes at a house call, collect a diagnostic fee, and leave. It left me with the impression that they just came to collect the fee. "

Looked at our kitchen and offered to change the color of the replacement part to better match things vs. just replacing with the white that was there. Very polite, called to let us know when his prior stop ran longer than expected. Any future issues with our central vac. we know who we'll be calling!"
