"I chose touchstone they have very thorough description of what was involve in the job and most interesting was making the grout waterproof. In the description, they basically said that they were going to do the whole thing of the wall and I was not prepared for that and basically that is what they did. "My experience with 83 Masonry was EXCELLENT! We hired them to tuck-point and partially rebuild our two chimneys. They started the project on time and showed up everyday ahead of time. We have new roof and AC, so before they started any work, they have protected the roof and build protection canopy over the AC to make sure nothing would get damaged. "Sam and his crew were fantastic! They demoed two of our chimneys because they were too tall and one was leaning. The other the other two they, ground out the bad mortar and tuckpointed the chimneys. They also replaced the limestone caps and installed doghouses on all the chimneys. We were out of town and Sam was updating us every step of the way with pics and letting us know of another issue with our parapet. All the work was done expertly and quickly. Sam was also consciously aware of safety, not only for his crew, but also for our tenants while the work was being performed. Would highly recommend them to anyone and our go to for all our masonry needs."
