Precise Repair & RemodelIt is hard to find a trust worthy, good quality and reasonably priced contractor these days. I am fortunate to know Scott. He had done a range of medium size projects for me in the last 10 years, ranging from kitchen back splash installation, Range Hood fan installation, to bathroom shower remodeling. I was always impressed with the work quality and competitive pricing. The latest major job he just finished for me this week is a major master bathroom remodeling, which includes installation a new freestanding tub and new title floor, which requests removal of existing jet tub, installing new title, freestanding tub & faucet, vanity, lights, and mirrors. The whole job took a full two weeks to complete. The work is done on time with excellent quality. Overall quote was competitive to begin with and Scott actually completed the job below cost at the end. Hard to find a good and honest contractor like Scott these days.- Mengju L.

Precise Repair & RemodelThis is the third project with Scott. The first two were bathroom remodels. This one was a kitchen. We asked him to change everything. We kept some cabinets but that was it. New floor, new countertop, added a wine cooler. He created multiple floating wood shelves. Counter to ceiling subway tile. He changed out all drawer and cabinet hinges to soft close and swapped all pulls. He was honest with what was possible and always delivered. He has an eye for detail and we trust him. Precise Repair & RemodelScott could not have been more accommodating. Even though his schedule was booked weeks out he was willing to work a Saturday and part day Sunday to complete the work we needed done since our house was going to be inspected prior to a pending sale. The quality of his and his associate's work was just excellent. The soon to be buyer of our home was totally pleased with the work that had been done. Drywall work can get rather messy, but they installed plastic sheeting to protect adjacent areas and then did an excellent job cleaning up the work area once they were done. Plan to use his services again in the near future at another home to do some additional ceiling work and a bathroom remodel job should he be able to fit us into his schedule. I bought a house without a bathtub/shower that would work without issues, and it only took a week to get the necessities in place for me which was much faster than I expected. I am planning to finish the details in the bathroom myself and hoping it all works out for me, but I definitely plan more projects in the future and am looking forward to working with him again!- Julie W.

JB & Sons ConstructionOur house remodel started Jan. 25 with the promise of 1 to 2 weeks due to our smaller size home. This was even after we added a few things along the way. Overall, Jim has terrible communication! We went over a week without hearing anything about our house. We ended up paying for labor that wasn't actually done which he admitted to. There are knicks in the flooring, trim, and baseboards. I have spent a lot of time scraping paint off of the brand new floors. Things that weren't broken ended up broken. They only painted half the ceiling and used two different white paints so the walls don't look complete. While some of the workers did what they could to help with communication and completion of the project, Jim was not great to work with. Thank you to Mary and Matt for keeping in contact after not hearing from Jim for over week! When we did hear from Jim, it was to promise the house would be done tomorrow (this happened at least four different times). There was always some excuse. The original timeline was one to two weeks...it's been a month and the house still isn't done 100%. We do NOT recommend working with Jim. Even after contacting him about these issues, he will not respond.- Kayla B.

Peoria Tile and CarpentersTotal demolition of the kitchen from ceiling to floor! They did excellent work putting new ceiling & walls up. The sanding & painting was done very well. Scott did a wonderful job installing the new cabinets,stove, microwave,& dishwasher. He also installed all the flooring,baseboards,new door & trim. Very good attention to details & very neatly done. Work completed as agreed to, in reasonable timeframe (one week). Nice job on patching drywall after tub replacement. Would like to see a little more coordination with plumbing to put same care and attention to detail as Joe, and keep work tools organized/out of the way of living space after hours. We did have some clean-up to do after the job was done (drywall dust, dirt, minor debris), but overall good experience and quality work. Joe was responsive to questions and minor issues that we pointed out day to day.

The work was done properly and when some additional jobs were added, Mr Grant went out of his way to get subcontractor's in to fix the added jobs promptly. I was very happy with the results and would recommend Steven Grant Construction to anyone who needed a prompt quote and a properly done job. He took the extra steps to finish my job within the quote so I stayed on budget.

My traditional wood deck need to be demolish and installed a newly composite deck. At first, we were not sure what would it turn to be.We were amazed on how the crews work tirelessly and efficiently to get it done .
