The 2 gentlemen were professional, hard working and thorough. They had them all cut down along with the clean-up in under 90 minutes. Because of the pricing I had them do a bedroom on top of the living room and hallway. Victor (painter) was making sure everything was correct and what I expected. He also patched my walls where necessary. Ruthanne at office was awesome! I probably now will just hire these guys when painting needs to be done in future. They made it easy and affordable."

The amount of drywall you need for a 1,000-square-foot basement depends on the ceiling height, angles, number of doors and windows, and more. To find the wall square footage, multiply the width and height of each wall, minus any gaps from windows or doors, and add the totals together. Drywall installation is considerably faster and more affordable than plastering. Before drywall came on the scene, plaster was the material of choice for interior walls. While drywall may be the more cost-effective choice in many cases, plaster may suit your aesthetic preferences better. Plaster walls also tend to last longer than drywall, and are more energy efficient, as plaster has superior insulating properties.

Their usage safeguards against chipping, denting, or other forms of damage, enhancing the overall durability of the wall. Any level over 17% moisture should be replaced, as this could be a sign that the drywall is too compromised to be considered safe. A contractor or water restoration provider can come out and use a moisture meter to check the moisture level in your drywall.
