"We highly recommend US Waterproofing. Unfortunately, after repeated issues (we’ve had water getting through a basement door, water backing up from drain/sewer pipe, foundation cracks – all which were addressed) we now have had issues with hydrostatic water pressure delivering a great deal of water to our finished basement. Only one solution – drain tiles and sump pump installation. US Waterproofing was outstanding, every step of the way. They communicated clearly what was needed, and much to our surprise, what was not. They did not ever try to sell us anything that was not needed – only what was – installation of drain tile, window well drains, sump pump, and all work related. All of the crews involved were outstanding – in particular, the crews installing the drain tile and sump pump. The supervisor clearly and concisely explained every step – and when issues arose, they were dealt with promptly. The teams removing drywall and reinstalling also did very good work, and were very responsive. Everything was done correctly, and on schedule The work is now complete – and the basement is back to normal. I commend USW on all facets – they explained everything, did not try to oversell anything, and were responsive to issues as they arose. "Brian arrived with his worker, assessed the issues and presented a couple of options to work with. The work was done efficiently in a few hours and I no longer have any leaks in my basement. I was very impressed with the work and the way he goes about his business. There was only one area that we could not figure out if it was leaking from the foundation or if it was coming from above. We agreed to test it the next rain fall and have him come back to fix that section. Unfortunately it didn't rain again until spring and when it did I was unable to reach him. I think this company is no longer in business or at least that is the impression I get because all of his contact information is no longer in service. It's too bad because I really like the work he did for the price he quoted.

"I walked into my basement on Saturday afternoon to discover a pool of water on the floor.  Looking at the walls I traced it back to right above the window that sits below my kitchen sink.  I popped the paneling off the top of the window box and immediately saw that the galvanized pipe leading from the sink drain to the stack had corroded and a hole had formed.  Frantic because it was 4pm on a Saturday and I knew I couldn't use my kitchen sink or dishwasher until I got this fixed (no easy task with two toddlers to keep up with), I jumped onto Angie's List looking for a plumber with Saturday hours and a good rating. 
I called McDonagh and was told they could have someone at my place in an hour.  Todd showed up at 5:30 and immediately got to work.  Patrick (the owner) showed up with his son Nolan shortly thereafter to take a look and get Todd some parts off of his truck.  We gave Nolan a piece of the pizza my kids were having for dinner as an apology for interrupting his Saturday too.  Patrick came back with a price estimate that seemed fair to me for emergency short-notice service on a Saturday night.  Todd replaced the entire section of pipe from the sink drain to the stack and was finished and out the door by 7:30, leaving us with a fully functional kitchen again. 
Huge thanks to Patrick and Todd (and Nolan) who really saved the day for us.  These guys are absolute professionals and really saved us from some major inconvenience.  Would absolutely recommend and use them again.
