His assistant installed a high-quality chimney cap with a lifetime warranty. We are very happy to have that taken care of to guard against rodents, etc., getting in the house through the chimney. Although the assistant threw the old chimney cap in the yard and left it there, we are overall extremely pleased with A1 Chimney. They gave me a number of remedies for potential problems inside the chimney and told me to heat the chimney first before adding the logs. They gave me some written info on potential repairs, explained in detail. They took photos all the way thru the process and showed me before and after inside and out.
