"I received a few quotes from fencing companies. My husband and I decided to hire Flores Fencing. The quotes I received from the different fencing companies were pretty similar as far as cost but we decided to go with Flores Fencing because they were the only company that seem enthusiastic about getting our business. The other companies, which have been in business a lot longer than Flores Fencing, never even bothered with any form of follow up communication after they gave me the quote. Emanuel however, was great at communicating with me throughout the process and Wilfredo was great at addressing my questions or concerns about my project. The workers were efficient and after completing the installation of my fence and gate, they made sure they left my yard pristine. Wilfredo, who is one of the salesperson, came over to help the workers to make sure the work was completed in one day. He even took it upon himself to fix a gate that was not part of our project which he noticed needed a simple repair. The fence and gate they installed looks absolutely wonderful. I am so pleased! "My husband and I just bought a condo in Chicago and were interested in having some "light" construction and painting done before we moved in as we had about a month between closing and our planned move. We were enticed to use MPO Builders by the Big Deal they were offering and also their A grade. We reached out to the owner, Mike, and he came out to do a quote assessment. Everything seemed great at that point...Mike was on time and responsive. After that, things fell off a little bit. He returned the quote to us more than a week after he promised and became very difficult to get in contact with. We were on somewhat of a tight schedule and his delays were making it tighter. After we reviewed the quote, we communicated to Mike which items we were going to move forward with. Then there was radio silence for a long time. Given the 4th of July weekend fell in that time, but it still was an unacceptable amount of time to wait after multiple emails and voice mails left for Mike. We decided to purchase the Angie's list deal as a way of "prodding" Mike. Finally, we get a response and Mike sends out one of his job managers, Francisco. What a godsend. Francisco is super responsive and, for the most part, has readily communicated with us. Nothing ever runs perfectly, but Francisco and his team have done a great job accommodating our requests and addressing issues that arise. The work is not done just yet (completion date set for 8/1), but we are pleased so far. Ultimately, we decided not to use the Angie's list deal voucher as we were well outside of the amount of work provided in the deal, which is why we requested a refund. But, Mike did honor the approximate amount of the Angie's list discount."

Was pleased with the project overall. Liked that Tim explained different brands of fencing so we could choose quality over just the cheapest price. They explained their installation tid bits that help keep the challenges of vinyl fencing from rising out of the ground over time. Their price was in line with other company's proposals. The installers worked well together and had a 'system' that made them very efficient. I could not believe 3 people could do the project in 1 full day, but they did.

Within a month of the fence installed, one of those nasty storms caused a section to break free. We were panicked at first that we chose the wrong product, this was exactly what were trying to avoid by choosing a high wind resistant brand in Kroy. They came out within 3 days of the breakdown and explained the section notching mechanism was just a bit not slotted in place, so the fence is designed to break away like that. Only part that actually broke was the post cap. He was able to reconnect the section and have not had any troubles with section failure since. Expect that gates will need adjusting, just an fyi, with ground settling the first year, but the repair group comes out to adjust and teach the owner how to make future little adjustments from normal ground shifting.
