"Had solar installation on my home in Bloomington Normal. The installation crew was very professional and knowledgeable and efficient. My installation took around a day and a half. The roof panels look much nicer than i had anticipated. The Tesla panels on the side of the house look very nice. My sales rep / energy consultant (Rock Wiley) I cant say enough about. Extremely knowledgeable & professional kept me informed throughout the entire process. Was always available to answer questions & was on site periodically the day of installation. Walked me through setting up & understanding the apps. I had looked at solar energy companies for a couple years but wanted a local company as i do with all home projects & am glad I waited. My wife & I are super pleased with the entire experience & have several friends & family member getting an install. . Attached is a pic of my last year of Ameren bills. The last 2 are with SUNRUN .The $20 was my first full month. "

Finally, have a vision and a plan—if you know the measurements of your home, including any windows, doors, and outside bushes you wish to light up, you should be able to only purchase the necessary lights and not more than you need.

You can use both LED and incandescent bulbs in an incandescent fixture as long as the bulb base is the right size. Never use a higher wattage than what the fixture recommends. However, it’s usually safe when transitioning to LED bulbs because they typically have a lower wattage than their incandescent counterparts.

Where you place your lamp post is dependent on several factors. For example, if you’re installing a lamppost for aesthetic lighting purposes, you’ll want to consider placing it in a highly-visible spot or a location that illuminates a yard feature. Use it as a focal point of your outdoor living space or use it to light up a garden or walkway. Be sure, however, to avoid any obstructions like trees or other structures that might be in the way or will cast a shadow.
