Gutters & More Companies

Appointment for estimate was prompt. Price quoted was fair. Post-estimate communication from company was poor to non-existent. Workmanship on (single) date of service was good. Time between the date of estimate and the date of service: 351 days. Explanations given for the delays were weak. Billing was very prompt. No price adjustment was offered for the extensive delays.

Very satisfied with the information and service provided by Kristine Rainey, the Leaf Solution product, and the installation crew.

They were very friendly and professional, explained what they would do and why, and came over and did the repairs in a little more than a week.  They only replaced what was needed and so had the lowest cost estimate of the companies I talked to (i.e. didn't try to sell me repairs I didn't need).  The result looks great and they did quality work as far as I can tell (maybe I'll post an update after a couple of seasons).  Would definitely use them again.  Very happy.  I also appreciated the fact that, because my gutters were in a non-working state, they made it a point to try and fit my repairs into their schedule as soon as possible.

It was quite a wait from April until June for the work only  Thanks to the weather we had !  But when they got here , they did a great job .
Left no trace they were here .   
The heavy  rain used to pour off the roof down onto the walkout in one specific  corner causing leaks in the basement .
I have not seen that happen again , even with all the rain we've had this summer .  It's a solution that helps to manage that problem

They installed fascia (made repairs) and gutters with 16 inside/outside corners, not an easy task.

They also installed gutter guards to complete the job.

Both management and installers were polite and professional.  We are more than happy with the results.

Arrived as promised and went right to work.  Got the job done in a reasonable amount of time and cleaned up after themselves.  Gutters look great and rain drains as it should.  Would definitely use this company again.

My gutters were in good shape. However, they were coming off the house and leaking. I called Gutters & More and they came out right away. They talked to me, explained the different products and provided me with a written estimate. I didn't need new gutters but they had to be reinstalled at the correct angle. I also requested the gutter covers. They detailed what they would do. They didn't try to oversell me or sell me things I didn't need. They come out sooner than the appointment. They did the work, were polite and cleaned up after finishing.
As luck would have it, the rain came within a couple days. They called me to see how it was working. I noticed there were a few places that needed adjusting. They came right out and fixed it.
After the next rain, they called again. There were a couple more problems that had nothing to do with the work they did. I needed a drip rail put down my metal roof to channel the water into the gutter. We agreed on a price to do this extra work. They came out promptly and fixed my problem. And they called me again after the next rain.
It is such a pleasure to do business with a company that cares. There is so much mediocrity in the business world. Companies don't care about customer service or the quality of their work. Gutters & More is one of the best companies I've dealt with. They care about their work and their customers. They arrive before they say they will. They stand behind what they do. They follow up to make sure there are no problems.
Repeat business is the key to success. They know how to keep customers happy. Gutters & More should give lessons to other companies on how to conduct business.

They did a good job. We have not had to call them back to unclog anything. We've only had to call them back because we had a branch fall on the front of the house and left a dent on one of our new gutters so we actually had it replaced. But we have never had any problem with the functionality of the gutters or the guards.

I was quite impressed by the responsiveness and professionalism of the Gutters and More people.  Their estimator, Ty, arrived as scheduled, did a thorough evaluation of the job and had an estimate ready before he left.  He was the only one of the three firms I had quote on the project who offered value for the metal in the old gutters.  When prompted he also sent me a voucher for 5% off the job.  His quote was below the others with all factors included.
Although Gutters and More is not based in the Quad Cities as were the other bidders and I would have preferred a local firm, I decided to give them the job based on favorable Angie's List recommendations by others.  Upon acceptance of the bid I got an e-mail from the owner, Dick Rainey, thanking me for the work and offering his personal help with any problems.  The installation crews showed up within a week and took two days to complete the job.  I was impressed with the high quality of the crew and the on site job managers.  They were professional and took the time to explain their installation process.  All spoke well of the company and the boss, something that can't be said of many companies.
The job was completed on time and as specified.  I'm confident that if there are any problems in the future (which I don't expect) that Gutters and More will stand behind the work.  I recommend them highly.

I had a good experience with this company. The staff responded to my request for a quote immediately. Ty came out and was very professional and talked about my concerns about my gutters and made some suggestions. There was no sense that he was trying to "up-sell" me at any time; he even made some suggestions about what could be salvaged (I am a first time home owner and need to save where I can). The crew who came out about 2 weeks later did a reasonably good job -- there was a small area where my wood siding was chipped but that could have been the fault of the nasty old gutters, not the new ones. The bigger problem was clean-up -- there were about 8 large (6-8 inches) nails left in the (recently cut) grass around the house. I called the company to tell them about this and to ask that different downspouts be installed and they responded perfectly. They apologized for the installation crew's insufficient job at picking up after themselves and credited my account $50. They also came out the next business day to replace the down spouts and I got a call from Ty to apologize for the trouble.
All in all, the company was very professional and responsive. If things go wrong, you want a company who will respond as professionally as they did. I have already recommended them to friends and will use them when it is time to replace the back gutters in a few years.

I hired Gutters & More to install new aluminum gutters and downspouts on part of my house and also my 30x34 outbuilding.  I was concerned that the job would be considered too small for someone to make the 1 hour+ drive since I already had gutters on 50% of my house.  I was wrong.  Each of my phone calls was answered by a full-time secretary which eliminated the annoyance of waiting for a contractor to return my calls, and her professionalism and polite demeanor were greatly appreciated.  If she didn't have the answer to a question she put me on hold to get my answer rather than making me wait for another return call.  Dan Rainey arrived 10 minutes early to give me my quote and the 2-man crew was also early on the day of installation.  They cleaned up after themselves before leaving and only a single nail in the driveway was the only proof that someone was even at my home.  If you are a contractor in any type of home improvement take note:  This is how to run a business.  Thank you Gutters & More!

They showed up in a timely manor. They had to work around a lot of bad weather. The people I dealt with and my mother in law dealt with were very personal and professional. We have not had any problems with them. I would recommending them.

spot on with the appointment for the estimate.  Very personable and knowledgeable agent.  Took a bit longer than expected to get the actual work done.  But i am happy with the results and i appreciate the fact this repair job is a nuisance call compared to a whole-house project.

It has been awhile and they came and checked on the gutter and that was leaking, so they came back and did that and it has been fine. Their service was good. I would use them again in the future.

They did a vast job.  They were expensive but they are worth getting.  I had them twice.  They rectified a gutter problem on our new house that they had not originally done.  They were better than the original contractor.  They had the best gutter covers that I could find and that's the reason I purchased it later.
